November Sneak Peek - MOAR RATS!
Hey folks! How's everything ^^?
Just wanted to give you a little teaser of what to expect for the November release :)
The ratfolks I have released thus far are super popular, and though I had originally planned them for the City of the Damned specifically, a lot of people have started printing and painting them to play full-fledged Wargames, including Rank & Flank (if you know what I mean ^^), and wanted more Rat Ogres, among other things ;)
So there you go :D Still rough around the edges, and though some things can still be subject to change, it gives a pretty good idea of what to expect for the next batch.
For Rat Ogres, I'm going for a thematic approach for each sculpt. Some will feel more tech/steampunkish, some will be more mutant and bestial. In this instance, behold the Plague Rat Ogre ^^
Much like the first Rat Ogre, the ball-and-chain with the smoke effect will be separate, in case you'd rather glue something more generic to the forearm.
For the other two models, I figured Giant Rats was a good idea. I still hadn't sculpted any, and they're always useful, even for TTRPG players ;)
Besides, given how much work goes into a Rat Ogre sculpt, making smaller and more simple models for the two remaining slots is preferable, not least on account of the release schedule :) Hope you don't mind too much.
In any case, hope you like them! Let me know what you think :D

Love it! Your skaven sculpts are still the best I have ever seen. You've inspired me to learn 3D sculpting too, just signed up for some courses to learn Blender :)
Oh, so cool, man! I don't know much about Blender but if you ever need help in 3D sculpting as a whole, feel free to reach out ^^
As a Skaven player, this is awesome.
Thanks ^^ Any game in particular ;)?
Niiiiiice!
Thanks :D
Looking great! I love the active poses on the lil' guys, makes it look like they could scurry off at any moment!
Thanks ^^ Trying to come up with believable running poses for them was a little challenging, but I'm pretty happy with them so far :D
Fantastic! Still hoping to see your take on dwarves someday ;)
Thanks ^^ Yeah, so many things to try out. After the Herd Goliath, I figured making regular beastmen would be cool. But yeah, don't worry, you may expect some Trollslayers in 2024 ;)
fantastic sculpts as always!
Thanks :D
