Blight Guard 2 - WIP
Hey folks! Here's my progress on the last model of this set, the second Blight Guard.
Still a little bubbly Zsketch on the standard and loin cloth areas, the hip scabbard is still little more than an extruded 2D shape, and loads of refinement required overall, but it gives a pretty good idea of what to expect.
A pretty ambitious model to say the least, but I'm making good progress ^^
Hopefully this one should be fully done some time next week ;)
Hope you like it so far. In any case, let me know what you think :D

With ABS-like resin I have had no problems with any of the blight prints. I was concerned about the flaming balls and chains on blight guard 1 -- but they just flex around a bit. [I would not downsize the print though] They do end up settling on each other due to the weight so maybe they should have some small permanent supports to make them easier to paint? [[Mine is still in primer (guilt)]]. I started painting the Seer -- brilliant design. The tactical rock was unexpected : ) I will have to paint his left toenails brightly to draw attention to his ugly appendage!!
Thanks for the input, man! Glad they're not giving you real issues. Still, the double flail with spell effect, among other things, was quite ambitious in retrospect, and I'll keep weight in mind for future models. The flaming balls should be smaller, and the chain links should be bigger. The Seer was a fun model to make, and adding tactical rocks and shit to the base of the models makes for more posing/composition opportunities, so expect more of that in the future ;) Can't wait to see what you'll make of them ^^
Looks great. The entire set looks great in fact... I will say having printed them, there are quite a lot of thin pieces that are freestanding in this series, and I've had snapping occur on pretty much all of them. Good thing I printed extras!
Thanks so much for the kinds words, I appreciate it ^^
Diggin' it!
Thanks :D
