Loxodon Barbarian - WIP
Hey folks! Here's my progress on the Loxodon Barbarian. Going for a Mammoth on this one seemed relevant ^^ Let me know what you think :D

It’s just a thought - he has quite a bit of inertia pulling him over his center of gravity, and the connection point to the base is behind all of that which means he would either have to be pinned or propped in order to stay upright.
The connection point is behind to have the rest of the base balance it all out. If it were in the middle or worse, the front, the guy would probably fall over right away xD But you may be right about the risk of snapping, here. I'll try and think of something ;)
Love the Mammoth as a Barbarian - certainly fitting. Little concerned about the toe-tap being the only thing establishing him to the base as he will be pretty large fella and that could snap easily. Any thoughts on a “peg” in the foot to insert into bases, or maybe he is launching off of a stone for better support?
Thanks :D You may be right, though. I'll need to look into a way to make the model sturdier at the base.
Seeing your early WIPs I wondered if the barbarian would be mammoth-inspired. Glad you did go for that!
Thanks ^^ Yeah, sounded like the go-to solution for this one :)
Looking very dangerous :) the only thing odd that stands out for me is the clothing around his neck. Looks a little like a babies bib.
Ahah ^^ Yeah, I see what you mean. I'll make this thing closer to the next and maybe sculpt a knot or something ;)
Hi buddy i do love a bigger trunk....i think it is more threatening !!!
Thanks for the suggestion buddy, I'll look into that ;)
I like it, very dynamic! His expression at this stage looks very Zen. "I'm going to chop you into chunks, but I'm at peace with it."
Thanks ^^ Ahah, I agree, I'll need to open his eyes more, and frown the eyebrows more. I'm also considering giving him a cool helmet of some kind. I'd like him to look really menacing and dangerous, to be more coherent with the pose :)
