Vice Knight - WIP
Hey folks! First, a reminder : February billing cycle is paused, so you're not getting charged for this period ;)
Here's my progress on the Vice Knight. Still quite a bit of sculpting and polishing to do, but we're almost there.
I need to make the final version of the weapon and shield. The hips and hair areas still require finetuning. As for the hands, they're still ugly placeholders at this point. When it's all done, I'll do the cutting and keying for both arms, and export the three parts as separate stl files, like I did for the two previous models.
I'd say we're a few days away from release at this point ^^

Very sleek looking figure. I would love to watch you make your armor edges or see a tutorial on how you make them so clean and sharp.
Thanks Sean :D Armor sculpting is a pretty long and tedious process. The tools is use to get the cleanest surfaces are the hPolish brush, and a slightly modified version of the ClayBuildup brush (no square alpha, very low ZIntensity, and maximum Roll Distance). That's for the surfaces, though. For edges, it's the same as the fur. Standard brush to indicate an edge, low ZIntensity Move brush to clean the curves from all angles, hPolish brush from both sides of an edge to sharpen it. Rince, repeat until you get it right. Now it'd probably be better to just watch me do it ^^
