Tortles - Painting contest! ('bout time, huh? ^^)
Hey folks!
Now that the Tortles set is finally done (the presupported Bard should be available in a few days, now), it's time to host my first painting contest :D
Over the past few weeks, my work has been making its way into the miniature painting community, and I think now's the right time to introduce painting contests as a recurring thing :)
Now, what's the incentive, here? ^^
Well, there are pretty cool prizes to win! I've been wondering how to introduce commissioned custom minis without sacrificing time dedicated to my Patreon production. See where I'm getting at with this ;) ?
Ranking first in a painting contest gets you a custom stl, sculpted by yours truly ;) You design, I sculpt :D
When five contests have been hosted and we got five winners, I'll sculpt your five custom minis and distribute them as a regular FULL CUBROLL monthly reward for the whole community to enjoy ^^
Here are all the prizes :
1st : Custom mini - 3 miniatures from my catalogue - 1 month free - 1 seat in the $5 Early bird FULL CUBROLL Tier, if applicable.
2nd : 3 miniatures from my catalogue - 1 month free - 1 seat in the $5 Early bird FULL CUBROLL Tier, if applicable.
3rd : 1 month free - 1 seat in the $5 Early bird FULL CUBROLL Tier, if applicable.
- You need to paint one of the 5 Tortles currently available in the FULL CUBROLL Tier
- You have two weeks to complete your paintjob, take a picture and pm it to me directly through Patreon messages.
- Contest ends on Sunday 25th
- Contest is reserved to Patreon subscribers.
When I got all your pictures, I'll make a 48hrs public poll to determine the winners.
Time to get to your printers, primers and paintbrushes, folks ^^

It's not up yet. I'm working on making all the pictures into one. Expect the poll to be up in an hour or so ;)
Manuel! What time is the deadline? Still noon here,but I wonder what the time is where you are. Trying to finish my entry.
I'll make the final post tomorrow at around the same time. You still got enough time to finish your entry and take your picture ;)
Only one picture for our entry? or multiple angles? I don't mind either way, just have to plan the composition of the pictures

How do you want to take submissions?
You can just import your picture on imgur or something else, and send me a Patreon inmail with the link :)

Christ, only 2 weeks? That's a tight deadline to finish a contest worthy paint job.
This is no Golden Demon ;) The main point is to have fun. I think a pretty paintjob can be done on one single mini under two weeks. If people feel like they need more time for the following contests, I'll make it three weeks from that point onward ;)
Are we allowed to enter multiple minis? Or just a single? :)

Sounds good, although a heads up (from what I've seen from other patreon painting contests), that Patreon themselves might not like 'reserved to subscribers only' ... like they seem to specifically like 'open to the public' :S You'd have to check their terms etc for more info. Best of luck to all the participants though!
