Underland Teaser
Hi guys,
Here's a sneak peek of Underland's book trailer, animation and sound by Ricardo Emig. This is not the final version of the video (the final trailer will have narration and a few modifications), but I hope it will make you look forward to seeing this new story.
Best regards,
Voidy.

I feel like Underland might be similar to Overlord. Lord Och is basically Ains Oal Gown, which makes me wonder if there will be succubi vampires and fallen angels. Can you tell us if you have an idea for those kinds of characters in Underland?
It's a lovecraftian fantasy, so no succubi or fallen angels. Expect more eldritch horrors, ghouls, and creepier stuff ;)
Q: You mentioned in a previous post the reason you would have liked to write the other potential story was that the MC would be a woman. Why not just make the MC of this story a woman and adjust the plot a little?
First, the idea of a female MC appealed to me more in Sword & Shield because there was a larger point to make: namely, Xianxia/cultivation is (usually, there are thankfully exceptions) a rather male-dominated genre where woman are either love interests or wallflowers. Having a female MC fight to get recognition as a martial artist in a standard, Xianxia patriarchal society appealed to me (especially since her brother would have been a more support/nonviolent character in contrast). Second, in the case of Underland, while I am considering adding a secondary female POV, I have a very vivid image of Valdemar in my head, from his backstory to where he will eventually end up. Changing his gender would mean a lot more changes than just adjusting the plot a little, it would mean making a brand new character and plotline; and I have gone too far in outlining his character arc and the larger plot to change now.
Excited!
howww did you get a video for your new story???
I funded it ;)
I always had problem mentally visualising characters when reading the description from a book. Can i assume the the white haired kneeling person as the MC ?
The white-haired man is Valdemar, and the other is Lord Och.
For some reason, this trailer made me want to go play bloodborne again...
In now possessed with an overwhelming urge to play bloodborne until this book comes out remember kids fear the old blood!
Lol someone beat me to it!
Nice! Very Dark Souls! Is there a poison swamp level? What do you mean "it's not a game trailer"?
God-damn, gave me chills.
That concept art is fucking incredible, super hyped for the story now!
Wiw
Where do we vote for this to be an animated series as well?
Maybe in a few years, when I will have the budget XD
That's like really cool.
10/10 Holy shit I'm stoked af.
