The Hundred Reigns 281: King of Spiders (23)

Previous Chapter

The coming of Abraxas was upon them.

Dead Island lived up to its name. Created by a volcano which had remained dormant since the Doom, the five mile-wide island resembled a grey peak surrounded by a flat sheet of grey stone, rock, and ash. Its lagoon’s sharp reefs and treacherous waters had already kept most people from settling this place long before the League of Valne turned it into a dumping ground for their infected population. They had killed even the crabs and the few stunted palm trees that used to claim the beach as their own, their remains now piles of calcified flesh on the sand. The entire region had been cleansed of life.

What an eerie place, Simon thought as he surveyed the area from atop his dracozombie’s back. The thick fog lingering over the surrounding waters gave the island a rather supernatural look, on top of the many mindless zombies waiting on its shores to slow down Algozoa should he manage to reach that far. Golem workers also finished setting traps under the sand for good measure. I wonder how much will remain once we’re done here.

It wasn’t like there was much of the region left to ruin. Nations had abandoned both sides of the Dragonsea’s coasts, and though no worldwide war had begun, all of the world’s nations were heavily weakened. The inevitable surge of monsters that arose with the Second Doom would bring many of them to their knees.

A time of chaos was upon them.

His gaze turned to the sky, where his flyers ran circles above the dormant volcano. This team included Voltobauta’s Ravenous, whose deck was stacked with soulless undead, Shabram, and the Necromancer himself; Vouivre in her Karmic Form; Dassein on his manticore; and Granny Radhag. Simon had provided her with a powerful black golem glider resembling a metallic bat, with great wings, obsidian claws, and incorporated bomb weaponry. It housed a large enough arsenal to blast a small town to rubble, and Simon hoped to improve the prototype based on the data gathered from the upcoming battle.

This group was the second line of defense and mostly tasked with preventing the Archer from escaping the island itself. Algozoa was a dangerous long-range fighter with considerable camouflage abilities, so the group’s main strategy was to engage him in melee in an enclosed area to limit his movements.

This first line of Class users awaited within the volcano itself, which Simon entered through the caldera and slipped inside a cavern roughly two hundred feet deep. Renal, Elsa, Chrom Cruak, Borsh, and Xenophon had gathered there alongside a new addition to their group.

Since Bert remained too weak on his own to participate in the battle, Simon had used Valravn’s box to merge his soul back with Verney’s corpse, and then allowed Hector to possess the result with his helmet. The resulting hybrid had put on the Executioner Class outift, but wielded an axe in one hand and a curved sword in the other.

“How are you holding up?” Simon asked them upon landing and dispelling his dracozombie.

“Surprisingly well, Your Majesty,” the hybrid replied with Hector’s voice. “We fill each other’s voids.”

“But much is missing,” Bert complained upon briefly seizing control. “What Lord Valravn kept did not return… though this body feels familiar.”

“Maybe you will recall who you were in time,” Hector said reassuringly, though his ‘soulmate’s’ answer came snappingly quickly, “I already am who I want to be!”

Simon had assumed as much. Valravn had emptied his host of many parts and Hector’s undead state had robbed him of much of himself as well, so the two formed a surprisingly solid combination. The combination of Bert’s additional Puppeteer Perks enhancing Verney’s corpse and Hector’s battle experience should help them survive this fight.

It wasn’t that the original Verney had returned, but something closer to two one-legged people helping each other stand.

“This will not hold long,” Chrom Cruak said as he examined the steel coffin in which they slotted the Archer’s crystal. “The miasma levels… are already rising.”

“Couldn’t we just shut him into that timebox machine thingie?” Borsh inquired.

“The connection between the comet, constellation, and a given Zodiac Fiend is metaphysical,” Simon replied. His ability to retain the Overlord Class in places where the Abraxas’ baleful light shouldn’t reach was proof enough of that. “The demons will get a power boost no matter where they are.”

“Are the others in place?” Chrom Cruak asked Simon, who nodded. “Then the fighters at the front… the rogues in the back.”

“Algozoa is constantly aware of his quarry’s location, so many of your Perks won’t work,” Simon warned Elsa and Renal. “He’s your natural counter.”

“So?” Elsa smiled confidently, her new dagger flashing in her hand. “Knowing where your death comes from doesn’t mean you can avoid it.”

“Well said,” Renal replied, his new anti-demon curved sword drawn for the kill. “This will be an incredible test of my skills.”

Well, aren’t they confident? Simon guessed he would have felt the same had he not experienced the boost in power Abraxas had provided Nodens and his Wicked God transformation. Algozoa didn’t strike him as among the Zodiac Fiends’ heavy hitters, but even their weakest member had become a nation-destroyer at full power.

Simon, Borsh, Chrom, Hector, and Xenophon surrounded the coffin with Renal and Elsa forming the backline. Odette’s death had unfortunately prevented them from finding an equally good replacement for her, with Lord Albert being a poor substitute. However, Buddyguard being an innate Perk meant he could still summon Xenophon at level 71 with sufficient funds. Simon would have him stay on the Ravenous for his own safety to ensure his eidolon wouldn’t fizzle out.

Should they fail to contain Algozoa, the group would teleport away—since the mists didn’t prevent such gateways from within the sealed area—and Simon would use an Edict of the Wounded Earth to detonate the volcano. The long-range fighters would intervene only if that somehow failed to kill the Archer anyway.

This has to work, Simon told himself as everyone put on their Class outfits and renewed their buffs. He shapeshifted into his Wicked Angel form to remove his Humanoid type—which Algozoa could target—grabbed his new Nodens-powered Flaymace, and then coated it with a special oil capable of dealing additional Light damage. This is the strongest group of Class users ever gathered in one place since the anti-Helel operation.

Simon took one last breath as Abraxas entered the Archer’s constellation and brought Doom to the world.

The night sky above the volcano’s caldera was stained with purple and its stars were set ablaze. The comet’s fiery tail lit up the darkness with its baleful glow and bathed the surface in its eldritch light, with the spirit of Algozoa immediately awakening within its prison.

A mighty pulse of teal-colored miasma and malevolence shattered the steel coffin holding the Archer. Dark thorns and sharp brambles began to grow out of nowhere over the ashen ground and rocky walls, quickly turning the volcano into a primeval forest.

Simon hadn’t felt such overwhelming pressure since he basked in the Wicked God’s might, and the feeling coursing through his veins reminded him of the first time he had stood in Vouivre’s presence all those reigns ago; the feeling of being prey caught in a predator’s lair.

Algozoa, the Las–

The notification fizzled out, the words turning into a bloodstained warning.

Algozoa, Devourer of All, has engulfed you in its Abyssal Domain!

The pulse nearly threw everyone back and did raise waves of ash across the chamber. The miasma rose quickly around the Archer’s crystal and began to form a body, of which it served as the heart. It vaguely resembled his original form at first, but his back quickly split open for something new to emerge like a snake shedding its skin.

A towering horror roughly fifty feet in height arose to challenge them, vaguely resembling the Tellurian centaurs the way an undead dragon resembled a lizard. The lower part belonged to Algozoa’s original body, except his hands had turned into hooves that had snapped open, the beast had lost all skin, and a gruesome humanoid torso had arisen from the hole in his back.

It suddenly dawned upon Simon that he had always assumed only the fears of mortals had given birth to the Zodiac Fiends, but some terrors were shared by all life in the world; and the beasts of the land had long come to dread the horsemen hunting them through the woods.

Man had always been the ultimate predator.

The new Algozoa was soaked head to hooves in bloody gore, naked muscles, and leaking veins rather than scales, its elongated arms reaching to its ankles. The body was terribly emaciated, almost skeletal, and a pair of antlers topped by sharpened spikes grew out of his bald head. He vaguely resembled descriptions of the monstrous wendigo spirits, or perhaps served as their progenitor.

The most unsettling part of the abomination was the face, for it looked so uncomfortably human in spite of its lack of nose and lips. Bloodshot eyes glimmered above a demented grin full of fangs, and stared at Simon with something more terrifying than malice or madness.

Cannibalistic hunger.

Algozoa is always aware of your location, and all his attacks will inflict Type-supereffective damage!

The hunt is on.

All of his attacks are supereffective? Simon’s heart skipped a beat in his chest. This is bad!

The creature’s mere presence filled the air with the taste of blood and waves of Terror. His allies’ equipment, Perks, and native immunities shielded them from it, but he sensed the monster’s bloodthirst caress his mind anyway. Borsh’s mouth watered as the chemicals pumped in his body failed to forestall the appeal to his bestial nature.

Dreadmaster negated by Indomitable Crown!

Algozoa’s Cannibalistic Frenzy compels all beasts to join the hunt!

Everyone attacked.

There was no taunting, no hesitation, no words of engagement exchanged. Even though Borsh was clearly affected by this madness, Simon’s Brand of Pride compelled him to lunge at Algozoa anyway.

It was an execution, nothing more.

Simon, Xenophon, Borsh, Hector, and Chrom each targeted one of Algozoa’s legs in an attempt to kneecap the monster, while Elsa threw a volley of elementally-infused daggers and Renal unveiled a ninja scroll summoning a lightning dragon.

Algozoa flailed at them with his elongated arms as he charged, his hands moving like blindingly fast whips through the air. He struck Xenophon midjump, his claws tearing deep gashes into the eidolon’s torso, and slammed the slower Hector onto the ground so hard it left a crater in the volcanic stone beneath them.

The other attacks struck true, with Simon personally busting one of the giant’s foreknees with Flaymace. The combined strength of the Light-oil and the demonic power infused in his weapon let him shatter bone and flesh alike. His Crown of Pain flared up and triggered, shedding blood at the point of impact.

Anti-Heal and Bleed triggered!

His other allies fared unevenly. Chrom Cruak’s ice-coated spear and Renal’s lightning dragon bounced off Algozoa, as did some of Elsa’s daggers. Others struck true, with a poisoned projectile going as deep as its pommel pierced into Algozoa’s flesh, and Borsh’s metal teeth drew blood. This allowed Simon to make a first assessment of their foe’s elemental defenses.

“The Wind, Lightning, Frost, Wood, and Water elements have no effect, and Algozoa seems to resist Physical attacks too!” Simon warned his branded allies through telepathy as he raised his mace for a follow-up strike. “Corrosion and Light are highly effective!”

“Metal works too!” Borsh replied with his iron fangs still stuck in Algozoa’s leg, runes flaring on his fur and energy building up in his gullet. “I’m trying Mythic!”

Algozoa opened his mouth and shrieked.

A scream louder than a thunderstorm’s heart erupted from the Archer’s lungs and shook the entire volcano. It was less of a noise than an airquake, a mighty sonic boom mightier than an airship bombardment. The shockwave rippled through Simon’s armor and caused his bones to resonate with each other. His eardrums would have burst out had he been weaker; and they did in Renal’s.

Medium Wind damage! Supereffective Demonslayer damage!

Terror negated by Indomitable Crown, and Stun ailment transferred by Lovestuck! Buff dispel cancelled by Rune of False Weakness!

The shockwave tossed all melee fighters back, including Borsh, and froze both Renal and Elsa in place due to the Stun effect.

Simon quickly regained control of his flight and Chrom Cruak did the same with his metal wings, but this freed Algozoa to charge at immense speed towards their backline. The Archer aimed at Renal with incredible swiftness for someone of his size and with a broken knee.

Simon briefly caught a glimpse of a red cross appearing on the Ninja’s chest a second before he activated his Kawarimi to switch places with a nearby rock. The whole interaction took place in a fraction of a second, so fast even Simon’s enhanced Perception struggled to see it.

Yet Algozoa’s hand caught Renal anyway.

It wasn’t teleportation, not really. The Archer didn’t disappear and then reappear next to his quarry, no. It was simply as if the distance between them had shrunk to nothing. A panicked Renal immediately sliced the claws holding him with his anti-Demon sword and managed to cut a finger, but Algozoa’s grinning maw proved swifter still.

The Archer bit Renal’s head off his shoulders.

The Ninja’s brutal death rippled through the brands and his blood stained the walls. However, the shock of their first casualty paled to the sight of Renal’s screaming ghost leaving his body and being inhaled by Algozoa like a puff of dreamshade smoke. The monster’s wounded knee snapped back into place, the exposed bones fitting themselves back and blood no longer flowing out of it.

Consuming a soul lifts his ailments and status effects, Simon realized to his annoyance as he cast Darkflare. Algozoa swiftly galloped out of the way of that strike and tossed Renal’s corpse back at him, but his previously wounded leg appeared a little slower than the others. He doesn’t fully regenerate at least.

Borsh and Chrom Cruak joined in; the former unleashed his runic beam attack and the latter used an Exaburn spell. Algozoa dodged both attacks by leaping upward.

He didn’t come back down.

Simon’s heart skipped a beat as he saw Algozoa galloping in midair, his mighty hooves bouncing off emptiness as if climbing an invisible stairway. His transformation had awakened the most dangerous ability a long-range fighter could have.

The power of flight.

Still, Xenophon managed to intercept him with a jump. The eidolon swirled around himself like a whirlwind of blades and lashed at Zodiac Fiend’s torso, leaving a deep gash in his flesh that sprayed blood all over the thorns on the ground.

Algozoa roared in anger and responded by tearing Xenophon apart with his wicked claws. The eidolon was torn to shreds in an instant and returned to the mana from which he came.

How? Even if Xenophon enjoyed fewer buffs from having a weaker Merchant summoner, he was of a higher level than he had been when fighting Alfador. So why was he taken out so easily when Hector managed to survive such a blow?

Xenophon has two Types, Simon realized, to his horror. The supereffective bonus stacks.

Individuals with one Type took multiplied damage, but it increased even further for those with two; and Simon knew Algozoa had increased chances of inflicting critical hits from their last encounter…

One hit. One hit was all it took to put down a quarry.

Rather than come down on them, Algozoa quickly galloped upwards with his chest still bleeding from Xenophon’s wounds. Two bones burst out of its right arm on each side, forming a bow of ribs bound by a sinew-string, with Algozoa swiftly firing an arrow of flesh at Hector and Borsh. Hector’s thrown axe intercepted the projectile before it could reach them, causing an explosion that filled the cave with dust and smoke.

Simon immediately realized this had been a mere feint, with Algozoa immediately trying to flee upward. Chrom Cruak threw his spear at the Zodiac Fiend at near-light speed with a Technique and managed to nail the monster in the throat, but that didn’t stop him. The Archer moved swiftly like the wind towards the night sky, smashing through the caldera’s lid on his way out.

He was escaping the narrow confines of the cave for the greater manoeuvrability of the open sky.

“After him!” Simon shouted as he ascended out of the volcano with Chrom Cruak closely behind him. His next orders were issued through telepathy. “Melee team, fall back! Long-range team, the Archer is coming at you!”

His other allies used teleportation gems to retreat back to a safehouse on the beach as tremors shook the volcano. Algozoa’s Domain continued to grow thorns and brambles tearing through stones, damaging the mountain’s foundations and the island itself.

It might very well crumble and erupt on its own at this rate.

“He hasn’t regenerated after destroying the eidolon…” Chrom Cruak rasped as his spear returned to his hand on its own. “His chest still bleeds…”

“So he does need to consume something with a soul to heal rather than just any living creature,” Simon said. It had been a mere hypothesis based on Algozoa’s Soulscale ability in his base form, and it was good to have it confirmed beyond doubt. “And he’s still vulnerable to my Crown of Pain’s ailments.”

They needed to deny him victims until they could land a fatal blow, which might prove difficult. Algozoa was more fragile than Nodens and lacked his sibling’s potential for mass destruction, but he hit much, much harder.

My human form is a dual Demon-Humanoid Type, so he may kill me in one blow if I ever use it in this fight. Wicked Angel at least let him become a full demon and provided a measure of protection. I must keep it up at all times.

Fire welcomed him right outside the caldera.

An explosion struck Simon and Chrom Cruak the moment they escaped the volcano, bathing them in fires hotter than the sun. It burned the surface of his armor in spite of his gear’s protection.

Fire damage negated by Ring of Cursed Flames! Heavy Mythic damage!

Dragonfire.

Simon waded through the flames with Chrom and glared at the responsible party. Vouivre was firing with all of her five heads at Algozoa with reckless abandon. She clearly didn’t care about accidentally harming her allies, or maybe she saw an occasion to strike at Simon while maintaining plausible deniability.

I don’t think our alliance will hold long, Simon thought as he focused on the enemy and took to the sky. Vouivre and the Ravenous were firing at an object in the distance, the former with her five different breaths, the latter with mana cannons and the crew’s spells. Algozoa had already flown all the way to the waters surrounding Dead Island.

Thankfully, while Algozoa’s Domain had engulfed the region, it had failed to lift Simon’s fog the way Nodens once shattered Lady Junon’s barrier. An impenetrable wall of mist kept him boxed in.

However, neither Vouivre in her massive Beast form nor the Ravenous were fast enough to catch up to the Zodiac Fiend running above the misty waters; that privilege instead fell on the much quicker Dassein and Granny Radhag. The Rider’s manticore not only resisted Algozoa’s mental influence, but detonated his arrows in midair with its poisoned breath, allowing Granny to throw a volley of bombs at the Archer. The resulting fireworks blasted off a good chunk of the monster’s chest and exposed the ribs beneath.

“Fire works too!” Granny Radhag telepathically cackled on top of her glider, having returned to her natural hag form to use its greater strength. She looked quite like the maniacal monster with her Alchemist Class outfit on as she soared through the sky. “Granny might just do her happy danc—”

Her telepathic gloating came to an abrupt end when Algozoa let out another mighty shriek, the shockwave spreading across the sky and blowing Granny’s glider off its course. Dassein immediately changed course to rescue her, which gave Algozoa time to ready another arrow; one made of solid gold this time.

However, rather than aim it at any of his pursuers, the Archer instead fired it at the sky. The projectile reached into the heavens above under the light of cursed stars, and then glowed brighter than the sun.

Simon blinked, and saw it falling back to the earth with a million more of its siblings.

A rain of vicious arrows fell upon Dead Island to the tune of the Archer’s wicked laughter.

Sometimes I ask myself if people have ever read manga or watched anime. I mean, after diving into the japanese world what's a lil bit of incest? 🤣C'mon guys it's nothing so serious, the real world's problems are others not people's fantasies about fictional characters 😅 writing is good also because you can write something you wouldn't do or want in real life. Or is everyone who writes about psychopaths a serial killer? This american way of thinking is plain stupid. Please be smarter, people of Patreon 🙏🏻 P.s.: oh yeah, if I remember well Voidy already said no incest in this one, so what's this fuss about it? Let people have their (wet) dreams lol

I think eidolons definitely fits best in the story next. He just found 2 new strong ones and this power is probably one he should have had a while ago. But glad we finally got the crafter. I just wish he could have fast travel. So good and he can just pop around and grab all the crestones and zodiac friend crystals at the start of each reign and go do anything. I just don’t like the eidolons for teleportation method. Highly prefer the remedia sorcerer way for that. So it’s a tough vote

Entirely unrelated to the chapter, i'm surprised there has there has been such little mention of Chronomancy so far. Wasn't that one of the very few miasma-powered magic categories? And would naturally be very interesting for someone in a time loop? Like it isn't even being mentioned in the archmage reign descriptions. Is it being saved for the end of the series or something?

if current Simon and his entire prepared team is having troubles with archer.... imagine empowered Helel or Asterion ..........

a

@darius I appreciate your enthusiasm for joining the conversation, but that’s what the Void Discord is for—people talk about the work there every single day. If you’d like, I can point you toward the Discord; just send me your Discord username, and I’ll send you a friend request. As for your question, Simón will almost certainly need all his heroes at level 100 to defeat Asterion, and even then, I think it will be extremely difficult to beat him.

what do you think the level of a empowered archer is ? do they even have level ?

Simon can FINALLY USE A PRAYER IN COMBAT AFTER >200 CHAPTERS on Monday. Since Papa A is weak to Light. (Inb4 "he can't cast in Class Outfit" that changed when he got the false light title, it also probably would have changed from Wicked Angel alone anyway due to the Paladin influence.)

F
Fimbulvintr · October 23, 2026

"he can't cast in Class Outfit"! Seriously though he can't do prayers in class outfit. Anathemic Secrecy III let's Simon do a false holy aura but doing it cancels out his Dreadful Aura and Unquestionable Ruler. He got a title later (The Lightbringer) that let's him turn Dreadful Aura into an aura of light when using false holiness, making it so Dreadful Aura is no longer canceled out. But none of this allows Simon to do prayers while having the overlord outfit on. The few times Simon has used prayers after getting these perks, the author explicitly shows/states that Simon is in human form. Next chapter the author might say fuck it and just have prayers work, but as of right now they don't. I agree with you on the traps though. I really thought that when the archer manifested, he was going to get alpha-striked by like a million explosions.

b
blib · October 23, 2026

Why didn't Simon use traps? ESPECIALLY given his new perk? ESPECIALLY given he already did in the Noden's fight as an opener? Nuke the area from the jump. Even if it doesn't work (because it wouldn't be narratively satisfying) it at least shows they tried. 1. Fight him in a giant pre-dug pit or deep ground bunker to make escape slightly more difficult. 2. Use Artisan of Wonders + Devil Forgemaster + Pranked to make super traps. 3. Use Elemental Imbalance.

b
blabidy blab · October 23, 2026

I'm not sure if Simon is particularly able to dig a pit deep enough to be relevant against such a powerful opponent? At least not within a reasonable amount of time. I'm sure he could build a golem army for it but that's a bit of a waste. Using a preexisting underground bunker is a wonderful way to give the archer a bunch of cover and places to hide. For nuking... yeah would probably be handy.

S
Stilico · October 23, 2026

Ngl im confused why didnt simon use any Eidolons here. If he had Gorgonzola chill a top of the Volcano that wouldve given some time for it to push Algozoa back down even if he killed the eidolon in return

F
Fimbulvintr · October 23, 2026

He's in his angel form, he can't do that and maintain a summon at the same time yet.

F
Fimbulvintr · October 23, 2026

Granny better make it through this, she's the heart and soul of this team. Imagine the future Exodeos fight. He's supposed to be one of the more powerful fiends and they're going to have to fight him while being hard locked at level 50, that's if his ability doesn't also get empowered and hard locks them at level 1 instead.

N

N
Nightmare Lore · October 23, 2026

In order of my observations from this chapter. Algozoa's Ascended name being Devourer of All is amusing considering, well, Simon the Devourer¹. But it gives us the start of a list. Algozoa, the Last Predator/Devourer of All. Nodens the Painbringer/Flayer of Worlds. When Algozoa's Ascended form is described, did anybody else remember the Beast Quest series? The one with the Ghost Beasts and the Centaur one? That's the closest mental image I have of him. "Dreadmaster" didn't Nodens have something similar or was it the exact same name? "Algozoa's Cannibalistic Frenzy compels all beasts to join the hunt!" Guess we know now why all the monsters up on that part of the continent started swarming. "Stat debuff cancelled by Rune of False Weakness!" Did the Rune ever do that before? I'm pretty sure it was meant to prevent Simon's buffs from being dispelled. Not him being¹ debuffed. "The power of Flight" "I wonder if my pony can fly?" "Xenophon has two² Types/The supereffective bonus stacks²." Hmm. Here's hoping that's in the Crown. "My human form is a dual Demon-Humanoid Type, so he may kill me in one blow if I ever use it in this fight." Pity, would've been an interesting Title on its own, separate Reign. Still have expectations for the Title of this Reign. ¹: Italics ²: Bold

Actually, this something a bit separate to the chapter at hand. But like, can’t Simon theoretically create his own Godmind? I mean, he more or less can project himself through frightwall, and he has one of the very powerful crafter perks. Instant craft+frightwall+all the resources of Endymion would be a terrifying combination

He doesn't become Castle Frightwall like how the Godmind's body was the Tower.

Bet you Simon wishes he had teleportation right now. I'm surprised he didn’t have a throw away person with a rigged soul for Algozoa yo absorb to inflict damage. As a side note I'd love to see a comedic video of the day of the life of someone with Lovestruck.

N
Nightmare Lore · October 23, 2026

I thought he might just have the usual goat and cow minions just be called back with Soulcall Spell since that's connected to their Brands. Algozoa might grab the soul. But he wouldn't be able to hold on to it.

I had truly underestimated empowered Zodiacs because of Nodens

S
Stilico · October 23, 2026

Idk it partly also feels like Void made them act stupider than they really were. There is Eidolon summon from Simon, very few crafted things (we just got the crafters crestone devoured and it is having no effect on the fight??)

Battles against the Zodiac Fiends are always epic.

"Xenophon has two Types, Simon realized, to his horror. The supereffective bonus stacks. Individuals with one Type took double damage, but it quadrupled for those with two..." I wonder if Simon will be able to use this when he gets the Archer's Crown. It would be especially effective when fighting Elves and Shifters, who are all Humanoid/Fairy and Humanoid/Beast types respectively. Even if the Crown only grants supereffective bonus against one type at a time, that's still a huge bonus, and likely the last piece of kit Simon needs to be able to 1 v 1 Louis, though more training won't hurt either.

N
Nightmare Lore · October 23, 2026

Type-Damage will probably be something the Crown does regardless. It just depends on if it's an Active or a Passive. If it's a passive, it'll be one kind of Type at a time. If it's an Active, it'll probably be on a single target or something. Either way, the Active will probably be miles better then Pain's Active Perk.

Everyone on team Sovereigns is a dirty loli-con. Everyone on team Archmage is a based milf-lover. All Norbelle-voters... why don't you take a seat?

And what about the people who wanna see more Eidolons?

J

See? Eidolons don’t feed Algozoa, it’s a sign 5 Sovereigns is the true path

N
Nightmare Lore · October 23, 2026

I'm obligated to point out that all Eidolons seem to have two Types. Any Simon summon here will be equally ineffective. Phul and his Aspice might be helpful for this fight though.

First???😨 Well, I tried...what was that? Third? Now let us all rejoice on Simon realizing his full potential as a Dark Visionary and potentially corrupting one of the Sovereigns. It would be really cool if it happened to the one that used to protect the Light Megalith after how mad it got last time it saw Simon. Also, about time to get some more Norbelle banter. She's just such a wild card. Yes, I know they won't be an item. I ship them platonically -I tell myself-. But in all seriousness just her flirting with him and annoying him is hilarious. I also believe she has a lot to bring to a reigns as another darkblooded Visionary. Finally, we've got to be getting our 2nd Crown this Reign, right? Riiight?

N
Nightmare Lore · October 23, 2026

Hopefully we'll get the the Crown of Predation. It seems more a matter of how many will die doing so. But on Sovereigns, I doubt we'll be getting one of them just yet. Archmage will likely have a high chance for The Phoenix. But I don't think my Road Trip will have any of the others going into a Pact. But there's plenty of other Eidolons out there. And new Aspices to gain from each of them.

Official messages from the cult... *Emergency protocol...* 01010011 01001111 01010011 Guys... brothers... Are you really going to throw away EVERYTHING we’ve built just for a 5-day trip to each country??? In the future, we could have entire realms for every region of the world!!! A "Shogun of Terror"—one realm for Bujan, another for Scaland!!! Simon is only going to be there for a short while—it’s just a tour, not a full-long reign!!! As for the Eidolons—the Phoenix is in Cocagne!!! Waiting for Simon to defeat it and claim it!!! Simon needs to learn more spells!!! NORBELLE is in Cocagne!!! The 5 Sovereigns—there are no spoilers for them yet. Don’t unlock anything!!! Brothers!!!! Brothers!!!! Your souls are hanging by a thread!!!! Don’t risk your soul for some fleeting, temporary gain. Not when you could save it—and earn a pass to the MILF heaven!!!! Come on!!! We can still turn this around!!! VOTE for Archmage!!! Those of you who still have votes in the *Book of the Damned*—vote for Archmage!!! You can still be part of a glorious victory!!!! Magic awaits us!!!! VOTE for Archmage!!!

I’m sorry brother, I genuinely hoped that the queen would return, but alas, she the people have decided otherwise. Despite the fact that I would prefer Norbelle in small doses, it seems that Sovereign will be before the Archmage
