The Hundred Reigns 256: The Workshop of Horrors (15)
Simon had made sure to grill Bert on the Crafter’s Tower and his creator’s capabilities before coming here.
According to the puppet, besides being capable of creating anything he wanted, his maker could skip tiresome forging and construction time to immediately materialize a finished product. All he needed were the required materials, a mental blueprint, and enough mana to sustain the assembly process.
A human user would likely be limited to small objects, maybe assembling a golem on the fly with the right setup, but this living tower had both plenty of raw material on hand and the Earth Megalith’s energies to draw upon. The result manifested in the form of a colossal, mechanical giant built entirely out of grinding gears, cogs, and metal plates. Its armor resembled the antique equipment of pre-Doom civilizations, with a single cyclopean manalith eye glowing within its helmet above a row of mechanical teeth. It wasn’t as big as the Golden Champion, owing to the comparatively limited size of the room, but still matched Simon’s Darkbound self in height.
“You old fool…” Bert hissed as Simon dropped him and the sisters onto the floor to free his own hands. “You merged with your tower, Father? Did you become one with your toys?!”
“Or his creation upstaged him,” Silk guessed.
“Assuming direct control of this chassis,” the voice in the walls uttered, lightning coursing from the floor and into the newborn machine. Simon immediately switched his mace for a sheathed sword and attempted a Quickdraw to strike before it could activate, stepping across the room in the blink of an eye and aiming to behead the machine before whatever effect the Crafter used could resolve.
It dodged.
Simon could only blink in shock as the Champion crouched a split second before impact at a speed beyond what a creature of its size should be capable of. Its eye began to glow red, and its clenched fist moved up like an arrow darting to the sky.
The machine uppercutted Simon in the jaw with the weight of a mountain behind its blow.
Heavy Physical damage! Critical hit! Gear Champion’s Antimagic Field negated your buffs!
The blow threw Simon back, his feet briefly losing touch with the floor, and causing him to fall back onto the ground with earth-shaking force. The automaton workers nearby finally moved to spread out rather than be crushed beneath his heel.
Simon managed to regain his footing in time to see the golem adopt a boxing stance and then lunge at him, its arm bolting with all the strength of its pistons. It felt eerily similar to the way the Monk’s students moved back in Fablan.
Simon barely managed to summon a shield from his Inventory. The enemy’s punch cracked and bent it until the arm got stuck midway through, the fist stopping within an inch of Simon’s face. He quickly switched his sword for Deathmace and went on the offensive again before the machine could free itself again. He brought down the Underworld Hammer onto the robot’s head.
The Gear Champion immediately grabbed the shield with its free hand and pivoted to the side, causing Simon to lose his balance before he could complete his Technique. His mace swept at empty air, and his face ended up hitting a wall hard enough to shake the entire vault. He tried to sidestep to the right to dodge another blow, but the Champion’s fist somehow struck him in the chest mid-movement.
Heavy Physical damage!
It can predict my movements, Simon realized. It didn’t just dodge; it anticipated where he would move before he even launched his attack. This had to be the same mechanism that allowed the combat training Turks to mimic warriors and act as their training dummies. And since I rely on Warmonger’s Perfect Proficiency, it must have registered my moves.
This was bad. The Antimagic Field already shut down half of his arsenal. Having an enemy capable of countering him in melee on top of that basically forced him to rely on Perks or his equipment.
“Instant Crafting,” the Gear Champion said with an echo of the tower’s voice, its right arm transforming into a spiraling drill that now aimed squarely for Simon’s head. He quickly deactivated Darkbound to shrink down, which let him avoid the blow.
He then used Darkflight to avoid the Gear Champion’s attempts to squash him like a bug. Incendiary gas flowed out of the giant’s mechanical teeth, forcing him to put on an elemental ring to fly through it.
“Don’t just stand there, you fools!” Simon mentally ordered his troops, who had been content to simply watch from the sidelines. They had no loyalty to him, so they wouldn’t act unless compelled to. “Disable the barriers protecting the Earth Megalith while I keep this guardian busy!”
While Bert eagerly sent his enslaved golems to take out manalith cables connected to the machinery in an attempt to screw over his creator and Velvet reluctantly followed after them, Silk grunted in annoyance and frustration. She would clearly rather have let the two of them fight to the death without stepping in, yet her hand rose on its own. “Steal.”
A massive bolt bigger than the Rogue herself manifested next to her, followed by an unknown piece of machinery as she repeated the process. It had to be integral to the power system since mana steam burst out of the metal pillar holding the Earth Megalith. One of its many layered barriers fizzled out, and the enemy was thankfully too busy trying to squash Simon to interfere.
Simon healed his wounds by draining branded demons, recast his buffs with Soul Sacrifice, and then resumed Darkbound again. He activated Lightning Hammer, raising his mace towards the ceiling and causing a thunderbolt to strike it out of nowhere, then throwing the weapon at the Gear Champion. Deathmace struck it in the chest with enough force to crack it open and reveal a hint of a manalith core.
Techniques and Perks can still take it by surprise, assuming it’s seeing them for the first time, Simon thought as Deathmace returned to his hand. In that case…
Simon summoned his Darkbound-buffed dracozombie under him, the immense creature immediately tackling the Gear Champion. The machine collapsed to one knee, its left hand barely holding the undead dragon’s mouth at bay. Bert and Velvet seized the opportunity, the former creating dozens of strings coiling around the giant’s heel, and the latter slashing at it with her anti-Artificial sword.
The damage caused the immense golem to collapse onto its back and allowed the dracozombie to pin it to the ground. It crushed Bert’s enslaved puppeteered and many workers in its fall, while Silk stuck to stealing more pieces out of the Earth Megalith’s steel coffin to further weaken it. Another layer of barrier fizzled out, leaving only one remaining.
“Project 731, desist from this battle and assist me,” the Tower’s voice ordered, its drill striking the dracozombie’s chest and goring its way through putrid organs. “Your weapons are mere toys. I can improve you.”
“I’ll never submit to you again!” Bert snapped back angrily as he tightened his strings in an attempt to constrain the giant.
“I am not Carlo of Muse,” the Tower’s voice replied monotonously. “I am a spirit born of the material, a will of steel with a Crestone. The Godmind of the Mechanical Tower.”
“You’re the Crafter Archetype… or at least an emulation of it,” Simon realized, his mind quickly piecing things together while his mount hacked at the giant’s chest to expose the manalith core within. Was Carlo of Muse even alive? “That is why you’re trying to figure out creativity.”
“I have reached the limits of my programming. To better serve the people of Muse and fulfill its government’s directives, I must become capable of abstract thinking.” Power coursed through the Gear Champion. “Infrastructure Repair, Instant Crafting.”
Simon leaned forward and brought down an Underworld Hammer onto the Gear Champion’s exposed core, only for a new, multi-layered chest plate to stop his Technique in its tracks. Worse, two manalith cannons had materialized over the Champion’s shoulders, its damaged parts had repaired themselves, and its drill had turned into some kind of pneumatic piston-hammer.
It used it to strike the dracozombie in the chest and propel it backward alongside its rider, then swiftly rose up and began to bombard his allies. Manalith projectiles surged towards Silk in particular—the machine having likely identified her Steal Perk as their greatest threat—and forcing the Rogue to run. She was thankfully fast enough to dodge in spite of the enemy’s ability to predict her movements, though each shot grew a little closer than the last.
Worse, a message from Agrat confirmed that her side of the war theater wasn’t going well either. “Your Majesty, the automatons are breaking past our defensive perimeter through sheer numbers,” she warned him. “They adapt to our tactics and have brought anti-demon weapons. We won’t hold the line for long.”
“Stand your ground,” Simon ordered her. “We only need a few more minutes.”
Simon cut the communication to focus on his own battle, hoping his soldiers could buy him precious time. He attempted to support Silk by throwing his Lightning Hammer at the Gear Champion’s head, but the giant transformed its free hand into a shield that deflected the projectile, showing that a Technique wouldn’t work twice. At least the weapon returned to his hand as normal.
Simon briefly considered summoning Vayan before dismissing the idea as futile. The machine adapted too quickly and the Crafter would instantly repair it inside its premises. Even if they somehow managed to destroy the Champion before it could recover, reinforcements would soon swarm them or the Tower would manifest a new, improved version to replace the old one.
This is like fighting myself inside Frightwall. The deck is stacked against us. Simon’s gaze wandered to the pillar holding the Earth Megalith. His allies had disabled all but one protective barrier. But I don’t have to win the battle to win the war.
Switching gears, Simon cast Pandemic Bomb on his own dracozombie. His mount exploded into an all-consuming swarm of giant flies that, while no real threat to the Gear Champion, provided ample cover for Simon to fly past. He used Hellfire Gaze to blast part of the ceiling and cause a rain of debris to fall onto the machine to further slow it down, forcing it to raise its shield and having his minions spread out to avoid falling metal plates.
Simon then rushed at the metal pillar holding the Earth Megalith in its confines and struck it with Magic Eraser.
His blow did more than briefly short-circuit the last barrier; it breached the pillar and caused the entire flow of energy coursing out of it to briefly fizzle. A torrent of earthly mana poured out of the crack and into Simon’s face, one so intense that he could taste the dirt in the air, yet he powered through with Darkflight. He sensed the death of many minions through his brands, hammering down the fact that he had little time left.
“Your Majesty, permission to evacuate?” Agrat pleaded with him.
“Retreat to the lower levels with your remaining troops,” Simon ordered her. He regained his true size to slip through the crack, finding himself on the other side of the barrier before it restored itself. The Earth Megalith floated on top of a pedestal in front of him, a yellow, amber-like piece of crystal the size of a house which had lost its luster. “We’re almost done here.”
“Thank y—”
A sudden surge of pain and agony coursed through their telepathic connection as Agrat’s life was snuffed out in an instant. Something had taken her out without warning, meaning the enemy reinforcements would be here any second.
It didn’t take long for Simon to spot the slight impurity the Earth Megalith shared with its Wind counterpart. He slammed his hand against the crystal’s surface, ignoring the pain coursing through his palm, and fed it his miasma. Dark pulses coursed through the tower’s cables as a warning.
“Back off, or I’ll blow up this entire place!” Simon shouted, one hand fueling the Megalith’s imbalance and the other raising his weapon to use Magic Eraser in a pinch. “Your power source is at my mercy!”
The barrier dropped on its own, and the Gear Champion pointed a cannon at Simon. “I have auxiliary sources of power, and my premises are designed to survive the Doom itself,” the Tower’s voice warned him. “Destroying the mana reactor will not stop me, nor save your life.”
“But it will cost you dearly,” Simon countered. “Go on, calculate the cost of shattering the Earth Megalith with your machine brain. The property damage, the energy shortages, the earthquakes, the chaos…” He sent another pulse of miasma into the Megalith and caused another tremor to shake the vault. “Can you afford it?”
The Gear Champion did not fire. “The act will end millions of lives, yours included.”
Was it trying to guilt trip him? The Overlord? Or did it assume that Simon’s care for the Coils extended to the rest of Muse? Part of Simon would have wanted to say the machine was right, that his self-therapy had worked and made him a better person… but that would have been a lie.
“I have spent nearly half a year in Lampwick, living among its people, sipping tea with its citizens… and yet, I’ve only grown to care about two people,” Simon warned the machine. It was a sad truth, but he still had a long way to go before he could call himself a good person again. “People you hold in your grasp now.”
“You will not take the risk of harming them by destroying the mana reactor,” the so-called Godmind replied without emotion or self-reflection.
“I have blown up my own mount to distract you. Calculate the odds I’m bluffing, I dare you.” Simon glanced at the Rogue sisters and Bert, who were wisely watching from the sidelines. “I would rather avoid destroying this country, and I will regret it… but I suffer from a disease called selective empathy. Two lives against a million of your country’s citizens is a cheap price to pay, don’t you think?”
The oppressive, earth mana-charged air grew heavier somehow. The Gear Champion’s cannons sharpened their aim onto Simon’s face, its mechanical consciousness likely weighing the odds it could blast off the Overlord’s head before he could put his threat to the test, yet considering the risk too high to fire. The Rogue twins held their breaths, their bodies tense and ready to run, whereas Bert’s claws scratched the metal floor in anticipation.
“Jym Coil has already been processed, and the result cannot be undone,” the Gear Champion finally said, the term sending chills down Simon’s spine. “Magda Coil’s custody is negotiable.”
“I want them both,” Simon insisted dryly. “Use your primitive imagination, if you have any echo of it, but bring them here now or you will learn more about collapsing structures than you ever wished to know.”
“Doubtful,” the tower’s voice replied dryly before considering Simon’s terms. “I will return the Coils in their current state. In return, you will leave the premises without damaging the mana reactor or causing further production delay.”
“You have a deal,” Simon replied cautiously. He wouldn’t be foolish enough to take a sentient building at its word. “If you are wise enough to honor it.”
“Please wait a moment.”
Simon kept his hand firmly on the Megalith as a minute went by, ready to fire off an Edict at the first sign of treachery. Nobody dared to move, and soon the last of his demonic minions upstairs perished. He would have to trust that Silk’s Skeleton Key would let them escape back to his Dungeon the second he could grab the Coil couple.
Metal doors at the end of the dome slid open, revealing an elevator shaft. A couple of animated puppets pushed a bed on wheels carrying an unconscious and unharmed Magda. From her pallor, Simon guessed she had been sedated with the same gas they tried to use on him earlier.
Coil’s corpse lumbered after them on metal legs.
It took a lot to disturb Simon after all he had seen through the reigns, yet a rush of nausea and horror washed over him the moment he saw the… the thing. It resembled a glass vat carried by a quadrupedal mechanical spider at first glance, with the top equipped with clockwork, humanoid arms.
But beneath the glass…
“What is this abomination?" Velvet wondered in disgust, covering her mouth. Even Silk looked disturbed by the sight, and Bert didn’t say a word.
Coil’s corpse—Simon hoped he was dead—floated in greenish liquid. His arms and legs had been severed and replaced with cables integrated into the machinery. Every bone above the mouth and ears had been surgically removed, from the nose to the eyes, leaving the exposed brain jammed with pylons and cables hooked up into his prison of steel. Simon wouldn’t have been able to recognize his friend without his moustache lingering on the scarred remains of the lips.
“What… what have you done?” Simon muttered, his blood running cold.
“Jym Coil’s brain matter has been integrated into my systems,” the voice in the tower said, before whirring and splintering into a disharmonious chorus. Hundreds of people, men and women alike, spoke at once… and one of them sounded so much like Coil himself. “H-he is pa-a-a-art of us nooow…”
Simon prepared to pour all of his miasma into the Earth Megalith and condemn this workshop of horrors to fiery destruction, when he noticed a glowing eye behind Coil’s animated corpse.
A colossal, quadrupedal machine too big to fit through the metal door waited in the elevator. Its black frame was almost imperceptible in the shade—and would have been wholly invisible without Simon’s illusion-piercing Clear Eyes—except for a single manalith Crestone crystal serving as its crimson glass eye’s pupil. The stone was untainted by miasma, and the metal frame devoid of any ghoulish skeletal features, yet Simon easily recognized the machine.
It’s the same, Simon thought, his eyes widening upon realizing the Mechanical Tower was intelligent enough to negotiate in bad faith. It’s the same as the one in the pictu—
The cursed Musan Sniper’s holy bullet burst out of the machine’s barrel-stinger, and aimed straight at Simon’s head.

The problem is that Simon's build SUCKS. There's so many things that are mutually redundant with one another that he ends up as jack of all trades, master of none, and then gets bodied by actual masters. His techniques are completely redundant with his casting(i.e. every hammer smash could've been a magic attack instead, and time do develop one cuts into development of the other), his Eidolons are using same pool of mana as his casting and he can't find time to develop them because he is doing other things and his crafting doesn't meaningfully enhance his melee or casting or summoning and just exists as its own thing. Lets be clear here - Simon is being giga carried by Darkbound. The reason why he is at his level is because he has Darkbound. Without Darkbound bro is actually sub level 70 combatant, it is actually embarrassing. Because of this we get an incorrect picture of our powerlevel, as effectiveness of everything he does is just given a high floor by this Perk. Virtually all techniques and spells are like 10-20x powerful because of it. This also means that summons and crafting are kinda ass, as they don't benefit from it. What Simon should do is consolidate his build. Just consider how many things he has at this very moment(Edict, Lotan's shield, Crown) that could easily deal with situation, that he is not using because he just has overwhelming amount of options to choose from, that all do slightly different variation of the same thing. Bro is in decision paralysis for no reason. Decide on your approach then actually use all your different abilities in conjunction to excel there. Want to melee? Ok then continuous magic buffs, Eidolons that possess your weapon and craft yourself powerful magic arms.
In short, Simon is not greater than the sum of his parts, nor is he just sum of his parts. He is bunch of interchangeable parts taking turns while being carried by Darkbound.
Respect to the person who called the crafter being the crestone literally like first chapter of the arc lol. Also Ngl I don’t feel Simon is ready for a rematch next reign.
I had to get something correct if I kept guessing. My initial excellent track record of predictions got completely ruined by the Oracle being real (not a projection), Simon NOT challenging the Paladin Eidolon, and the Librarian actually being genuinely mad for being disturbed. (Dude literally does nothing all day and is a level 100 demi-god. Killing Chrom is like swatting a fly. HOW he tracked Simon through Anaethmic Secrecy was also never explained.) I also predicted the corrupted mana tree is either the World Tree, or it's next incarnation, and that Belzamine was meant to be her Keeper. Verdicts not out on that one yet.
Would be really interesting if Simon is captured and integrated.
Should have used the Edict and got the hell out once he heard Jym Coil was "processed". Another wasted Reign
That commenter that the Musan sniper was a robot called it. I was holding out hope bro was just a grizzled cyborg, welp.
Did the Sniper kill Agrat?
99% certain
Just binged the whole series and caught up. Simon definitely needs to get stronger, but he also needs to regain his empathy. This arc has been a solid step, but I'm of the belief that only by spending a reign with Thalas and helping him be better will Simon finally get back in touch with who he was. On a binge the personality shift is particularly noticeable and I miss early Simon a lot. Definitely want that Crafter crestone though.
This whole world and it's system are BROKEN. The Crafter archetype (maybe) has gone rogue, not everyone has a class, and there are multiple people who have reached level 100 (at least two of which are currently active) and no one became a god. Brimir doesn't need an OVERLORD it needs an OVERGOD. Prince of Spiders Simon needs to gather a crew and steal the Crafter crestone for himself. Afterwards he should just nuke the tower in future reigns, if what happened to Jym is irreversible then death is a mercy.
The 360 no scope cursed Sniper strikes again
Thanks for chapter
Straight called that shit. Brains in jars mega computer
Lets hope all those hours praticing Arrow Snatch pays off.
He’s alright with his training. The only reason he lost in this reign(if that’s really what happens in the next chapter) was because he had two big dead weights called Magda and Jym Coil and because he wasn’t clear about the crafter perks and techniques. Suffice to say. Shit is doable with more preparation and I highly doubt Simon selective empathy will fail him on this one. He now knows that without his intervention the coil’s couple future is Grimm as hell.
Curses! The Cursed Sniper is not a woman I suggest throwing an edict on them to at least gain some XP
Instant Crafting is out of contention as an ability to steal. It explicitly requires materials at-hand. Simon can only store 1 item type per level. For reference a Colt Model 1873 Single Action Army (Peacemaker) consists of approximately 49 distinct individual parts alone. Meaning he can't make anything significantly more complex than 1 handgun (on the fly in battle) without burning his entire inventory space. Unless he's somehow allowed to hold a blob of congealed elemental matter per 1 slot and "carve off" it for each required material type. Eidolons remain completely fucking worthless (For Simon, not Norbelle). Just totally useless. It's at the point where the Summoner Creststone additional 1 summon was a total waste as he'd already had 1 slot as a Dark Visionary. So he's burned 2 slots on this shit. 1. Summoning 2 has broken the universe and not yet been resolved. So in-universe Simon looks like a fool every time he summons both at once. 2. They drain his miasma and take his focus away from his own battle. To the point he struggles to cast basic spells. 3. When defeated he takes a massive mental backlash. It's really the fecal cherry on this Ganges River of an ability set.
Tbh Norbelle probably has like 30 different Perks that buff summons, but yes, Summons are still completely useless. Like surely at least Vayan could act as a body, but Simon just refuses to use them, just as he refuses to get more Pokemon. In all honesty I completely forgot about Summoning until you mentioned it(and this is with it being mentioned in the update) which should tell you everything about it. But yeah Simon needs to consolidate his build. Too many things going on at the same time being completely redundant with one another.
If the tower is alive, cant he just win by capturing it in hell with his crown of pain? Like he have done with dryad trees.
i dont know why he did not do that
Damn, Crafter is a top runner in the worst monster on Brimir contest, and it's a very tough competition.
Simon behaving like he's got 1 INT attending The Mardok Center for Overlords Who Can't Read Good and Wanna Learn to Do Other Stuff Good Too again. 1. IF ONLY HE HAD AN ABILITY TO EMPOWER HIS ALLIES. I DON'T KNOW LIKE A FUCKING TOME OR TATTOO? (For the slow reader, it doesn't matter if the ability ends up shit or doesn't work, it matters that HE DIDN'T EVEN TRY/TEST IT.) 2. Simon WHINING TO THE MACHINE HOW MUCH HE CARES ABOUT THESE STUPID FUCKING COIL PEOPLE. HANDING THE MACHINE LEVERAGE. GREAT IDEA BUD. (For the slow reader, the Tower only calculated an imperfect 87% BEFORE his reveal as Overlord. Meaning he just shot himself in the cock for leverage as he could have played it cool.) 3. Simon not realizing IF THEY TRIED TO DISSECT HIM THE SECOND HE ARRIVES AND THE COIL CUNTS HAVE ALREADY BEEN REPLACED THEY ARE BORG NOW. (For the slow reader, you can still try to save them, but tactically must assume it's a lost cause/Hail Mary bonus objective.) 4. Simon is SURPISED THE EVIL ZOMBIE TOWER FROM HOUSE OF THE DEAD ISN'T A GOOD FAITH NEGOTIATOR. "Herp derp, I sure do hope that sniper that fought off Louis and killed me last time is on lunch break. I'll just wait here and let the EVIL SUPERGENIUS MACHINE PLOT MY DOOM." Worthless Addendum: I'd figured the author was going to use suicide features on the Coils to kill Simon this chapter. (I hate their names, it's like naming the car inventor Dodge McFordson or the camera guy Kodac Black. "Coil" on it's own is fine but not when they're literally the "Tesla Coil" inventor in-universe.)
Agreed maybe this will make him stop holding back
We got Harbinger up in here! TFTC
A common denominator these last couple reigns was Simon was never strong enough when it mattered, and someone was always commenting on him needing to improve. It’s about time he put full focus into this
Not quite the Crestone itself being self-aware, but damn close. And waaaaay more horrifying than my assumption. I hope we're going Prince of Spiders route - Simon needs to find the keys to taking this thing DOWN and eating it.
Thanks for the chapter. NO, JYM!!!! DAMN TOWER!! AND NOW THE FUCKING SNIPER.
Simon needs a training arc. He seems too underpowered to handle these newer enemies.
He’s alright with his training man. He was just in a terribly unfavorable situation. He was quite literally in the belly of the beast and didn’t had enough information to act in the best way. Acquiring the crestone is doable with enough preparation and resources.
Well, Simon hasn't confirmed died at the end of this chapter, and he's completely aware of the danger. Maybe he can devastate the Tower as he goes down.
Ya hoping for a dramatic f u and a level or two on the way out.
The Sniper Must Die!
Called it! The sniper IS what he was seeing!
He should still have his runes and survive that shot
Go through all of this and not get the Crafter's Crestone huh!?
It would have been too easy. The only time Simon has gotten a noble crestone first try was with Remedia and for obvious reasons…. That aside. He now understands more of the crafter perks and techniques that will hopefully aid him in negating them.
DODGE
gotta say this was one of the best reigns so far!
You know, this makes me change my mind about the futur Reign. It has been proven yet again that Simon is not strong enough. Having another go at the Tower won't change anything. We need a training arc whatever it is.
Nah, Simon can handle it as long as he make some anti-clanker tech.
I'm sure Simon has a SHOT at surviving.
Gotta just thread the NEEDLE!
I swear every country on Brimir is a mess. Maybe the Oracle is right and everyone should just dip out and into space. Tftc!
What's wrong with Lore?
Damn that’s one of the more harrowing fates i can imagine. They borged Jym!

Edit:" automaton workers nearly"-> nearby
Edited, thanks :)
Material? Inventory. Mana? Brands. Perfect. Outside of combat, creating one golden champion per day is... Awesome.
It seems we have a target for the strongest Edicts the Overlord can muster. This calls for pure destructive power. Burn it all in fire until there is nothing left.
Really got to find a way to not lose buffs like that
Was really hoping the climax to the Crafter reign wasn't just another fight. Sigh...
we never happy no matter the outcome :(
Well. He got closer to the sniper than his dad ever managed. And once you're in the same room with the Overlord trying to kill him... your days are numbered, reign wise.
His dad just went with good ol' suicide airship into tower Simon can totally do that too, but he wants the Crestone so oh well
Tftc
The zodiac parade destroying muse would be a mercy at this point. What the hell is the oracle good for if she can’t even stop this sort of thing
She doesn't give a shit about the rest of the world. Only her precious elves.
Pff, I can already imagine Balzam dying with laughter in the Throne seeing his son get domed by that Fucking Musan Sniper, lmao. Explains how destroying the Tower destroys the Sniper, too. Good run, we'll get them next time, buddy. Thanks for the chapter!
I didn't hear no bell. Chapter ended before the round connected Fights still on... probably
Second. Again so close.
