Why he's called "John"
We forgot his name and I (Anthony) quickly scanned through the episode and got to a character saying "my name is John." I didn't realize that character was the handsome suit-wearing man they talk to over the phone, and assumed it was the IBS chaperone (Mordimus Palaxar). We then spent the next ten minutes saying "John" over and over in ways that would have been bullshitty to re-record (both in terms of hassle and in terms of losing the energy of the room).
So instead, I recorded a perfectly camouflaged and unnoticable pickup to diagetically explain the name change.

I can't explain why, but I love this because it feels like something I would do during a math test in high school and I fucked up at the start of a major problem and gotta fix my work but I'm too tired and stressed to rewrite everything, so I just say "Nevermind, this is John"
