October Patreon Update

Happy Halloween.

Today I'll update you on what has been worked on, what is currently being worked on, and what is coming in the future.

First off I want to say a huge thank you to the Patreon members. You guys are the reason the website is continuing to be updated and why updates will only accelerate from this point forward.

The Star Wars (Marvel) reading order has been updated. Currently I'm working on Part 15 of the Marvel Master Reading Order, it will be posted sometime in November. Immediately after that is done I plan to work on a DC All-In Reading Order. During this time there will be a few event reading orders posted, for events taking place in Marvel Part 15 and DC All-In. I also plan on posting an Ultimate Marvel (2023) reading order when it finishes.

With those two big jobs finished, because both the Marvel and DC Master Orders will be up to date, my plan is to move on and update all the Character Reading Orders to be up to date as well.

On the backend of the site there are some coding issues with the majority of the pages, nothing that impacts readability or is visible but it affects the overall speed of the website and a few other things behind the scenes and has been something I have wanted to fix for a while. It is a simply fix but basically requires me to remake every reading order page. It only takes about 5 minutes per page but when you're talking about hundreds and hundreds of pages it adds up. I plan to kill two birds with one stone and use the updates to the individual Character Reading Orders to also update all the pages.

After that I plan on adding a new section to the website for Guides. These are something I have been looking forward to for a long time. Originally I planned to post some of these when the Patreon originally launched but keeping up a weekly reading order schedule didn't give me a whole lot of time to work on them. I'll post more information on what exactly the Guides will be as they get a bit closer.

As always if anyone has reading order requests or other ideas they would like to see feel free to leave a comment and I'll see you in the next update.
