Mermaids & Brafish

The Mer is a parasitic fish that latches onto the legs of drowning sailors, rapidly changing their bodies to be able to breathe underwater, while the brafish attach to the nipples, injecting chemicals that induce breast enlargement, milk production, and alter the sailor to appear more feminine, regardless of sex.

While mermaids aren’t hostile by default, that they’re usually made from pirates makes them relatively untrustworthy. There’s usually a swim-up bar in many seaside villages that cater to mermaids.
