Haha, we had the nerd of all nerds in my physics class, he put Doom on the classroom PC. My PC gaming time was in the late '90s after the shine was coming off the PS1. Emulation / MAME was becoming a thing and Quake 1&2, Duke Nuk'em 3D, Command & Conquer, Red Alert, Warcraft II, Starcraft, Half-life were stunning. It was a great time with amazing games. I guess it would have carried on but I was then reaching my mid-20s and other interests and pursuits were starting to take priority over gaming, so that was the end of the first phase of gaming for me. I got back into gaming about 10 years ago and its been all classic consoles since then, but I have a PS5 for stuff like M2's ShotTrigger series and some indie games / shmups. It's like running classic cars now I guess, I find modern hardware and AAA games extremely dull, but running old hardware with a few QoL improvements like flash carts, and the MiSTer FPGA for arcade games, is where it's at now. P.S.....the MiSTer is awesome, I totally recommend it to anyone who wants to play vintage games but can't get all the old hardware for what ever reasons of expense or space. It's the next-best thing. The games feel better than emulation.

Woah take it easy Jessie, I was never planning on changing the transmission fluid. I'm also in the "leave it the fuck alone" camp. I just wanted a second opinion from someone with more experience with this type of thing. Also, hell no we didn't buy a "new" Lexus, who do I look like, Warren Buffet? This thing had a little bit higher mileage than I wanted but it had a clean history with no accidents and it was only 10 grand
That was a great question. I loved Jesse's response. I too would leave it alone at this point. If the tranny goes bad without changing the fluid, then it was going to happen anyway. If you change the fluid, you'll blame yourself and have wasted $100 or more.
