My first handgun was a Beretta 92FS. Great gun, with a lot of safety features. You can keep it cocked and locked and it won't go off on you, even if you drop it. There's a reason why law enforcement and the military have used it for close to 50 years.
for the guy looking for a starter gun goto a good local gun store and buy a 12 gauge pump and a 22lr rifle then go plinking with the 22s and then go shoot skeet or trap with the shotgun thats the cheapest way to get into shooting from there branch out to different stuff i live in canada and cant own a hand gun cause of our retard prime minister i got a Winchester sxp it was on sale 100 bucks off. the pump action is weird but its a good gun to throw around and not care about to much, easy to take apart it jammed on me in a boat and i disassembled it to get the jam out in less then a min . i bought a savage model 5 from an auction its from 1940. has a old burris scope on it holds 15 rounds and it was 200 bucks, I took it all down cleaned it up and shoots great scope kinda sucks but its from 1940 so what can you do.
