We need your immense support regarding our update strategy. We're considering a community vote to decide our path forward. Originally, we planned to release frequent but minor updates, gradually building the game with a limited number of scenes. However, we're now contemplating a shift towards fewer but larger updates – think in terms of 1500-2000 renders and 10-20 animations per update. This approach means working longer on each update and releasing a few significant ones each year.
Depending on your preference for either larger, less frequent updates or smaller, more frequent ones, we might also adapt the game's narrative structure to a season and episode format.

I tend to find that when a developer updates more often then they don't have to provide as many "status updates". I tend to enjoy playing longer per update so even if updates are every month I may wait a month or two before playing. I agree with Ruffeus it pretty much comes down to what feedback you are looking for and what would be beneficial for you.. There are some developers (mostly new ones) that are hesitant to progress very far without input. However, after a while and they have their feet underneath them they don't need that input as much as the get a feel for the what the community is looking for. Just be careful about getting too much input or trying to appease us too much as you may lose control of the story YOU are trying to tell.
Updates every months has the benefit that you will receive feedback from the community
