World of Secrets: Development Update #15

Greetings, Seekers of Secrets,

We’re excited to announce that our upcoming v0.1.1b update, scheduled for release in a few days, will introduce several enhancements:

• Object-specific dialogues for items like picture frames and books on a couch.

• A new, customizable TV remote featuring special apps and content that require login.

• Usable toilets in homes, adding a touch of realism to your gameplay experience.

Given the modest scope of this update, we’ve decided to incorporate it into our next release, v0.1.2.

What’s in Store for v0.1.2?

Here’s a sneak peek:

• New TV Remote: Introducing a new, customizable TV remote.

• Ambient Sound Effects: Sounds that vary throughout the day to enhance realism.

• Interactive Elements: Click on various objects for new interactions such as washing hands, playing the piano, and swimming in the pool. For example, playing the piano might initiate a conversation with Monica.

• Dynamic Scenes: Improved atmosphere in locations like the shopping mall and basketball court, with people sitting, walking, and playing at different times.

• Massage Parlor: Now a functional workplace. After receiving a message from Ava, visit the parlor in the shopping mall to give massages, learn new techniques, and meet new people.

• Project Meeting: Barbara awaits you at her home for a project meeting, where she’ll introduce you to someone special.

• Enhanced Visuals: We’ve removed the black outlines around interactive objects. Now, when you hover over an interactable item, it will simply glow. Our updated roadmap app makes it easier to know what to do next.

Many of these features have already been implemented, and we are currently rendering some animations.
