World of Secrets: Development Update #8
Greetings, Seekers of Secrets,
As of this week, we have thoroughly played through the game with the latest content additions, reinvigorating the experience by embellishing it with missing scenes and lines, all while addressing any minor errors that arose during the process. Additionally, we've introduced post-processing effects to scenes, noticeably enhancing the visual appeal across the board. This improvement has encouraged us to apply these enhancements to all scenes.
Music & SFX Enhancements
In the realm of Music & SFX, the new version now includes ambient sounds, further enriching the immersive atmosphere. We've experimented with mini-game trials in a few scenes within this version, and the results have been promising. However, for this iteration, we've decided not to include them, as we want to ensure the game's early segments are approachable and comprehensible, allowing you to best grasp the fundamentals and acquaint yourself with the characters.
NPC Interactions and Map Expansion
NPC interactions are also part of this effort. With each forthcoming update, we're committed to refining these aspects. Our map is expansive, and we're gradually weaving in the characters that are essential to our storyline. In this version, you'll be introduced to a few new characters. Beyond these interactions, we've strategically placed clickable objects around the map as Easter Eggs for you to discover.
Upcoming Content and Animations
Approximately 150 more scenes will be rendered, and then they will be integrated and scripted. Several animations have been crafted, and you'll encounter one or two of them in this version. These interactions will be entirely novel, and you'll have the liberty to revisit them at your leisure.
Release Timeline
Our aim is to wrap up all the work this week. The release of this version is a firm goal for the end of this month! We're putting forth our utmost effort, and that determination will persist.
