Cross Promotion - Check out Wings of Empire from Droid Productions

Long-time buddy Droid, developer of Love of Magic and Morningstar, and well-known in the development community for his willingness to help and share his knowledge about the industry, has a new game out, and I'm happy he was willing to do a cross promotion for the occasion. The following words are his:

Hi, I’m Droid, a developer of Epic Adult Visual Novels. Having completed Love of Magic and Morningstar: Book of the Fallen, I’m now hard at work on my next title. 

Wings of Empire is a Space Opera set in a world where Rome never fell. You were a Centurion in the Roman Legions before a critical injury retired you. Unwilling to give up, you've retrained as a fighter pilot, and as the game starts you enter service aboard the INS Aquila as it heads out towards the front.

Inspired by books like Honor Harrington, The Last Fleet and Starship Troopers and shows like Legend of the Galactic Heroes and Battlestar Galactica, this is a big space opera about a man’s rise to greatness set against a galaxy at war. It’s coming to Steam on April 17th, or you can check out the free demo on Itch.io now. 

The current build is up to the opening of Act V, adding up to ~10 hours of game; in total it’s planned as 16 acts spanning three books. 

Prior to making Wings of Empire I’ve already completed Love of Magic, a massive Arthurian Urban Fantasy about falling in love, saving the world and becoming a God. A sprawling trilogy with ~50 hours worth of content, 650k words (about the same as Lord of the Rings + the Hobbit), all lovingly animated and rendered.
