I'm really happy to announce that the first chapter of The Velan Reach is out! Thank you for your support that has enabled me to share it with you now.
The Velan Reach is an adult Visual Novel set in a unique steampunk sci-fi setting, in which you play the role of a humble academic who, together with his lovely assistant, is invited to join a noblewoman's expedition into the unknown and rediscover the long-lost location of the cradle of humanity. But you soon find yourself pulled into a web of intrigue as you get to know the other members of your expedition, each of whom have their own reasons for being there and motivations for interacting with you.

Yes, Light of my Life is wrapping up. Chapter 10, that I'm working on now, is the penultimate, and then chapter 11 will wrap things up. I'm sad to see it come to an end, but to be honest, season 2 didn't give it the impulse I'd hoped and so I'm just not diving deeper into the new characters and giving the original cast he endings I'd planned all along. It is a very double feeling because at the same time I am very excited about The Velan Reach, and the things I can do in that setting that I never could in the slice-of-life format of Light of my Life.
just played the first chapter and I'm excited for its future felt a little to short but it hit hard enough ur games are one of the only games i actually take my time to read. been a follower since the start of c1 of Loml and dnt regret it at all hope u keep up the good work its rare thhs days to see a dev stay and keep deliverin the way u do dnt chng keep up the good wrk.
Fantastic start! Beautiful music, compelling story, and most of all, likeable and interesting characters. Look super forward to the next chapter.

Wow Naughty, I was blown away from the get go. that beautiful haunting music made me just want to listen to it over and over but I eventually hit the start button. Again as I have stated before, You really know how to get it on with gaming. I still play LoML over and over. I really didn't think you couldn't top LoML but now I'm humbled that you have. Keep up the brilliant work mate, you have made me a believer again. Waiting with bated breath for the next episode of TVR. 10/10

Played it and gotta say you're still pretty much my favourite amongst the different types of adult game creators. Your characters always feel like real people with real goals, personalities, and clear differences marked by differences in their tones, vocabulary, delivery, reactions, etc. And the visuals are lovely. This chapter 1 is a real treat. Can't wait to get to know these ladies more and ride with them through the adventures to come.

Just finished Chapter 1 and wow it's way better than I expected, and I was expecting a gem! Not sure how you made a girl (the assistant) hotter than Denise but you did. P.S. the pancake nipples are GOATED.

Congratulations! Looking forward to playing it. A question: I realise that itch.io takes less of a cut than Steam, but I was thinking that in the big picture it might be better for me to buy it on Steam because success there might mean that is where the bulk of your sales might be expected, and also because it allows me to leave a review. Do you have a preference?
Cheers. It's true, Steam has an algorithm, but on Itch, adult games are pretty much invisible after the payment provider tussle. Wishlisting on Steam is what helps the most right now in terms of ensuring visibility, once I hit a magic number there a release will be much more visible. And then a day one sale helps push the algorithm even more.
