I have watched one of our friends that loves this game play a bit of this but I have never watched the full game and I am super excited to watch your full playthrough!
My favourite ever game aside from zelda series (the original ff7 I mean) so you playing this is like... My mind is imploding lol I'm so excited!!!
I have to say I didn't vote for this game, but I'm glad you're playing it. My limited game money all goes to Nintendo, so I doubt I'll get to play it on my own.

I'm sooo excited for this Shady! Already played through the majority myself and planning to beat it before you catch up to me. BTW someone fact check me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that this is only a part of the true game. The original (That I've never played) is apparently huge and expands on other parts of the world like you mentioned about FFX. The graphics jump is so powerful that they had to split the game into parts and will apparently release the rest of it later as entirely separate games. Again not positive so if I'm wrong, comments let me know.
Heya yup you're right! The original ff7 game is HUGE it was 3 discs even back in 1997 on the ps1 😱 this remake only covers the very first section, Midgar only. Which in the original game takes maybe 5~10 hours to complete, it's like barely scratching the surface of the full game! I can't wai to see the whole game remade with these graphics, it really is the most amazing story!
Yeah I'm so glad we've got to experience this game with you Shady!! But yes I agree, maybe turn up the game audio if possible, at least for the dialogues.

Such an enjoyable video!! Small suggestion: maybe turn up the dialogue audio? it's hard to hear, at least for me
Starting episode 3, the dialogue will be higher! If I try to increase the overall game volume in editing, the music drowns me out during various times, but I'll lower the music in settings so the voices stand out more and let me increase the overall volume in post!
YESSS, IM HYPED. Just a heads up, they split the story of the original FF7 into multiple installments for the Remake since the scale would have been too big to fit it into one game. This is just the first installment. Not a spoiler, they disclosed when the game started production
