Status update
Hey everyone,
I want to be completely transparent with you all. I know I’ve fallen behind on delivering the projects I promised for Iron Hive and Ironblood, and I sincerely apologize for missing the deadlines we set.
Over the past couple months, a mix of personal matters, a dry spell of inspiration, and some mental and physical burnout caught up with me. Beyond that, I simply cannot deliver a project that I'm not fully satisfied with ; you deserve my best work, not something rushed just to clear a deadline.
So, here is where things stand, and what comes next:
Finishing the Backlog: My priority right now is wrapping up the delayed projects. I'm actively working on them and am committed to meeting the standard you expect from me. Of course the delayed models will be offered to anyone that supported us when they were planned.
Fresh Horizons: Once these are out the door, I'll be hitting the reset button and moving forward with new ideas very soon.
Thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and ongoing support. It truly means the world to me, and I’m looking forward to getting back on track with you all.

Everything you noted are valid issues. If it hasn't been said before. Let me say it now. The commitment and quality of the sculpts are why people sign up and stay... NOT the volume.. I would be perfectly fine with your taking a few months to refresh, pivot to new ideas, experiment, maybe take some backer/fan suggestions. Creativity can not be forced! Inspiration can vanish and motivation can dry up. And sometimes its best to step back. Move in a different direction wile you mull over the recent projects. And then come.back and revisit them later, either to finish ods and ends. Or to polish, or even completely resculpt exsisting releases! If I may inject and example from another patreon sculptor. Pipermakes has a second tier where they re-release past months files. Many times its a straight re-posting of the files with some minor cleaning up. Other times they have taken the opportunity to completely rework a part of a sculpture that they were never really happy with, or no longer matched the design language of the army. As the sculpts were early works,before all of the design cues really developed and came together. So, its OK! And lastly. If you feel like you want to move onto some other newer ideas, but feel like you NEED to finish fleshing out unit choices one what your focus is now... dont hesitate to let us know that your gonna pause for a bit. I feel that many are like me, and would rather have your best work, rather than a sculpt that was done "just because". Maybe commit to comming back to it in 3 or 6 months.. take community input, fold in feedback... Taking care of yourself IS taking care of us.. and shy of you abandoning the patreon, as long as you communicate like you juat did, you will do fine by me. THANK YOU!
I'm sorry to hear you're having a hard time Seb. Focus on rest. I appreciate that you are always doing so much and you make more than most mini sculptors. I'm always happy when I see you upload 💕 Your stuff is kick ass You might be behind on your schedule, but you're always ahead on mine. Taking some needed time off for life stuff should be priority. We'll be here when you return man 💪

Hi Seb, thanks for the update. If you're struggling for inspiration why not reach out and ask the community? I'm sure that we all have ideas ( which may or may not be practicable - mechanical space spiders or nuns in robes with AK47s...)
No worries, I've only been following your work from afar, but your own wellbeing is more important than any work. Get better, get good, and take care. We'll still be here for the things you make.
No rush take care of yourself. We can wait. :) would rather wait for something you are proud of then just pushing out something you don't like.
Wrap them up at your own pace, then pause and cool off a bit to get the creation mojo back (and take care of you). We're supporting you here because of your work as a whole, not just buying STLs :).

No worries. I've kept a sub here for a while because the consistant quality is always standout. I can imagine it's a hard thing to maintain. Stay safe! P.s. will there ever be a UG macharius stand-in?
