0.5 Development Update 3
Hey, folks.
First actual dev update of 2021! Woo!
V0.5.0 is in Beta stage, and early access is coming soon enough. On one hand, I am happy that it’s out. Lots of work went into this update, new environments, new characters, and even some new tech.
On the other hand, the reception has been mixed, to say the least. In the last dev update (the one before the alpha release) I posted some previews, and got quite a lot of strong feedback. I realized some of my mistakes and scrambled to change the most egregious bits.
And now, for the first time ever, I’m receiving quite a few messages that essentially say “I am canceling my pledge because of the new arrival” from folks here on Patreon. This is a bit disheartening. (And I must note, the folks saying this are perfectly courteous and reasonable, please don't think bad of them.)
Now, I’m not saying that there’s anyone to blame but myself. I should’ve been more open to suggestions and generally more transparent about the new main cast addition. Yona’s concept was defined way back in 2019, and I should’ve remembered that many folks came on board much later.
Still, I am holding out hope that some people will warm up to her after a few events. And I am seriously considering adjusting her visual design while there’s still time to redo starting events and move forward with an updated model. And now to the upcoming stuff. Next update is still at least a week away, more likely, about two weeks. There will be a continuation of Yona’s starting arc, and quite possibly, her very first lewd event will be in there, too.
In addition to that, Lyriel’s side event leading to a new repeatable lewd activity will be added. Here’s a little teaser for the said side event:
And since Lyriel is leading the pack in the “Story advancement” poll, so expect some progress with her and some actual, non-dream sex with her in the very near future.
