0.8 Dev Update 12

Hey, folks! 

First of all, the ➡️Waif's White Wedding Animation Special v2 is almost finished! There will be two "flat" versions - one POV and one with multiple camera angles, with better lighting AND a new blowjob section! And! We'll also have an alt costume version!

Ngl, this may be my favourite Special we've done so far. Hope you folks are happy with it as well!

Only Cait Story ch. 34 made it into Alpha, but at least we have her mend her relationship with her University friends. New adventures await!

The preview of Intimacy 2.0 was supposed to be ready for Alpha as well, but it still took longer than expected, so it's heading to...

0.8.11 Beta

I've already talked about the general idea for Intimacy 2.0, and here's a WIP of the new Love App UI:

We'll probably change it still, but you can see the general idea. To unlock the next intimacy level (and raise the intimacy cap) you need to progress the girl's storyline. As you unlock new levels, you get new variants of activities and hangouts. Currently our base plan is to get everyone to 6-8 activity types, with three tiers of 3-4 unique mini-events each. The goal is to make the relationship progress more visible, and add more cute and personal interactions to the higher tiers.

We're starting with Lyriel, as she currently has the most of these side activities. We'll be updating hers to better fit this unified pattern, and by Beta, we're trying to finish 2-3 of activity event chain updates. Then we'll keep updating them through the EA and beyond as needed. I just talked about visible relationship progress, so here's an example from the updated dishwashing activity. Tiers 1, 2 and 3.

Expect the same for TV watching, bedside conversations, and eventually sleepovers. She may even kiss you on the cheek as a thank you if you help her clean the bathroom!

Visual update for Rae 29 is also coming to the Beta. This event was done in the new pipeline, and we weren't able to fully lock it in at the time. We've been able to spend some on another polish pass, and it looks quite a bit better now!

Future Plans

Even though Lyriel already has plenty of hangouts, the other girls don't. We'll be updating the rest of the cast to Intimacy 2.0 and adding new activities for them at the same time.

We have a fair bit of Main and Personal story events backlog, but we're still grappling with the new pipeline. I know I've been talking about this for ages now, and I really wish we could just get on with it, but we simply can't, not yet. Still, we are working hard on making new models and environments, and we'll be making some story events in the old pipeline just to not stall the development completely. We just need to decide which ones go into which pipeline and then actually make them. Easy stuff!

Eurydice's special dream is coming, most likely in v0.8.12. That said, we want to make sure it looks as good as possible, so we may let it bake for a bit longer. 

We're also finally moving to actually trying out adding SFX to the in-game sex scenes. We'll see how it goes, but we have some tests in the works!
