Alchemy RPG Kickstarter - JUST LAUNCHED
We've posted about this a lot, both here and on our socials but here's an announcement to say: THE KICKSTARTER JUST LAUNCHED!
Me and Peku joined the Alchemy team just over a year ago now and we've been helping the team to get to this point. And we're really really excited to show you V1 of Alchemy.
We really do believe it has the ability to be the world's best VTT.

Late to this... I went Lifetime Unlimited in Alchemy... How do I get the maps there? I see a number of them, do I need to buy then again?
I have sunk so much money into Roll20 over the last five years...but this looks amazing...gahhh!

I want to back it, but first I would like to see more functionalities (like is there line of sight feature etc). I have foundry already, so the competition is high.
There'll be some line of sight features to aid in tactical mode but we want to make something that feels more like an immersive roleplaying narrative experience rather than a top down video game.
I am Korean who running dnd 5e. This new vtt..can it use in other language like korean. Sorry for my poor English skill.
Right now the VTT is English only but we plan to localize the VTT into different languages!
Would it be right to assume if we put an email in for the dm positions that if we never heard back...we aren't going to?
Not yet! That project is still being planned. We got almost 200 hundred applicants and we're building out different aspects of it at a time. We still haven't picked the final DMs yet. We were clearly too hasty putting out that ad for the position, things always take a lot longer to get going than you expect.
I don't know where to ask my question so maybe it will be answered here : Is it planned that there are templates for the spells, in order to see for example the area of effect of a fireball? Thanks !
We're working out the best ways to do that but we want to yes. Me and Peku might even design those templates ourselves. :)
