Beach Town [31x46]

Hey everyone!

A little beach town for you all inspired by several real world locations. We hope all the various levels gives you a fun town to assault by ship or maybe defend from pirates! There's some variations in this that'd let you use it as a desert city, a floating city or maybe a city in hell.

Part way through designing this map we thought it might be cool to do the interior of that big church-market building in the top right and perhaps the cellars of it too. So maybe you'll see that as a later map, let us know if you'd like that!

Oh and we were joined once again by the wonderful Frapupu/Sandrine Malus, who collaborated with us on this map. You can check out her Artstation and Instragram for more wonderful art!

Is that building roughly the same shape as the botanical garden map you made a while back? I love this map and that one but agree an interior map for a cathedral would be cool - especially if you add some sub levels and a crypt and/or catacombs.

I suppose it is roughly the same shape! We really didn't have that in mind when designing this but why not use the botanical garden map.

I’m new to the patron and have looked around without success. How do i find the Encounter Plus Modules for these new maps?

Absolutely gorgeous, as usual. And yes, please, to the interior!

YOU'RE TIMING IS IMPECCABLE. I'm running a oneshot set in a Pearl Port city that i'm so excited about and the winter one is PERFECT.

These look incredible and will be great for a flying city coming up in my game. I'm getting an "attachment not found" message when I click on the downloads though :(

S
Scarlet Song · January 23, 2022

I got that on the email version. It got fixed when I went to the official post!

I would so dig a cathedral map alongside this! Interesting play on tone too where a map i'd use for like a beach day type session but include a serene cathedral on the coast

This is gorgeous!

The beauty of most of your work, especially this piece, for me, is that you create so many variations that I can see several different scenarios locales. I run a custom campaign set in Pathfinder's The Great Beyond (the Outer Planes, basically). And this is one of those maps where I'm going, "This could be on about 10 different planes of existence!"

Amazing as ever! Thanks so much for continuing with the sky versions. Running an airships campaign at the moment and they’re all so good 😊

V
Verraine Augustus · January 23, 2022

Me too!! I'm so happy about all the airships, really helps me give a Final Fantasy vibe

Yup. Here for it.

Just what we'd expect!

A cathedral interior map sounds like an awesome idea. I don't think you've made one just yet, and it would be perfect, at least in my campaign 😁

Check out the Pseudodragon Lair if you haven't seen it. That's a monastery but might be useful to you!
