Swamp of the Bullywug Queen [51x45]

A Big Thank You

Hey everyone, we wanted to say a massive thank you for all the support we've received recently! We hit $10k in patron support this week which feels unbelievable. We really appreciate all of the support you give us. :)

It seems a lot of patrons are new to using VTTs but are making the switch due to the recent epidemic, so thanks a lot for choosing us for your online games! If anyone has any questions about VTTs or how to use the maps, please come join us on the Discord!

Into the Bullywug Swamp

This is the next in our series of big boss maps! Along with Ogre, Minotaur, Spider, Dragon, Mind Flayer and Beholder. For each of these we've tried to make something extra awesome and special.

For this one we've teamed up with PaperForge and ItsADnDMonsterNow to bring you VTT tokens and printable minis for a new Bullywug Royal Guard and the Queen Bullywug herself.

These two new Bullywug monsters have full stat blocks so they're ready to throw into any game.

The Griffon's Saddlebag has also provided an awesome item, The Toadstone, perfect for this encounter! Your party will definitely want this when taking on the Bullywug Queen!

The minis, monster stats and items are available to all patrons in the zip below but please go support PaperForge, ItsADnDMonsterNow and The Griffon's Saddlebag for more quality content!

All patrons can download the collaborative content here.

The map itself is huge and comes with 28 variations in total! We designed it so it could be used for any sort of swamp, bayou or rainforest tribe you might come across, with space for battling on land and in the murky water.

Our friend Paulo also made this cool illustration to go with the map:

Him and Peku go way back and you should definitely check out his work here. (lots of frogs!).

Finally for anyone wanting some cool music to go along with this map check out Music d20's Ritual Deep, Dark, and Wet.

With the collaborative tokens, I've seen one for the queen and one for a regular bullywug. I don't, however, see the Royal Guard Token which has art (as it's present in the statblock pdf). Did I miss something?

Me before subscribing: I'm only gonna stay for a pack.. *looks at all the amazing artistry* After looking around: I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

$10k per /pack/ That's absolutely insane, good for you guys.

Czepeku · April 15, 2020

Although we're stunned by all the crazy support, its not actually quite $10k per pack unfortunately! The 2nd pack gets us about half that and the 3rd gets us half again.

Wow... 28 variations? This map is amazing, and I like that it's great to use as either an encounter map or a village map, or both!

You have outdone yourselves this time. My mind is reeling at the possibilities.

I love these big boss maps! The smaller battle maps are more conducive for a simple encounter, but these bigger ones can be the place for a much more intricate story!

Love it ! Summer sun & Crescent moon variations are awesome

C
Czepeku · April 14, 2020

Thanks Guillaume! I wasn't sure if i should include them because they weren't much of a change but i'm glad now that we did!
