Island Toll Castle [33x46]
Hi Everyone :)
We saw this map as a passing point for those adventurers with enough gold in their purse to take a shortcut. Perhaps it could also be used as a safe haven of sorts. A small, well stocked castle with enough guards to hold back the most dangerous of monsters and enough food to keep the entire staff fed well through the winter.
If your players have a tedious journey which will take weeks of trekking ahead. Maybe this could be a planned stop off point along the way to rest, recuperate and maybe even meet some new significant characters. It could be used similarly to Rivendell being 'The Last Homely House' for the Fellowship during The Lord of the Rings.
We're excited to hear how you all plan on using this map and we really hope you enjoy the 3 floors of interiors too!

Maybe a tad late. But the floor 3 day map doesn't show the balcony of the main house properly. It overlays the hallway underneath, whilst floor 3 is the map where you are most likely to use the balcony, since that's where it is accesible from inside. Any chance that can get updated (also in the Foundry module?)
I love the layout of this castle, but I'm having a hell of a time trying to figure out how to best apply light-blocking walls and one-way walls in Roll20 because it has so many split levels. One thing that might help is if the rooftops were also available as a tile layer.

Looks absolutely amazing! Would love more castles and stuff, trying to find maps of pretty-looking castles feels impossible at times, especially ones in the sky, but the variants in this one got me covered 🔥👍❤️

No 🦆 vs 🦀😔 But that is a very good looking map! I appreciate that the castle is built on top of a cliffy island, as there's way too many castle maps where the castle is just built in the middle of nowhere.
We'll have more castles coming out in future. I agree there's a lot you can do with a castle to make it interesting and match the environment in belongs in.
