We鈥檙e very excited to announce our newest project! Czepeku Tokens! We鈥檝e been working hard on Czepeku Tokens for the past few months and we think you鈥檒l really love what we鈥檝e created.

Our community has been requesting we make tokens to suit our maps for years now, so this is for all of you! :)
As you might expect, Czepeku Tokens are designed to perfectly suit our battlemaps. The tokens are stylish and designed to be readable at the correct scale for an epic battle! No more cutting out mismatched art you find online that is noisy and dense. Now you can impress your players with beautiful tokens with the perfect level of detail.
And most excitingly: Tokens you can customise! We鈥檙e releasing 20 new tokens each month and every token will have customisable body parts, armour, weapons, and more. Change the token鈥檚 accessories, colours, frames, backgrounds, rank and status icons. Make each token exactly as you want it.
This means no more duplicate monster art on the battlefield! If you want to pit your players against a goblin swarm, you can use our randomiser function to make each goblin unique. And our rank icons enable you to say which one is the chief, which is the lieutenant and which is just cannon fodder.
We鈥檒l be creating not only monsters but tokens for NPCs and Player Characters. So your players can show off exactly how they see their character. And just like with our maps and scenes we鈥檒l be taking suggestions from the community for what to create next, so if you鈥檙e playing a Dwarven Aviator, Halfling Alchemist or Myconid Jester, let us know and we鈥檒l add it to the list!
Czepeku Tokens will use a bespoke subscription platform on our website. Why? Because we wanted to streamline the user experience for you! For our maps we send people to Patreon to subscribe but then send them back to the website to search through our catalogue. We鈥檙e very proud of our website, the search is robust and fast and it makes a great home for all our content. Our goal in the future is to offer subscription options for our three current projects (Fantasy, Sci-Fi and Scenes) on czepeku.com too and Czepeku Tokens is just the start of that process.
Launch is still a few weeks away! Czepeku Tokens is currently in the pre-launch stage. Subscription is paused until we launch but anyone who signs up now will be locked into a massive 66% discount.
For clarity on pricing, here鈥檚 how it works: All prices are monthly. The basic tier is $4 per month and the deluxe option is $9 per month. The $9 tier will be increasing after the pre-launch period as our token catalogue grows. First to $14, then periodically, up to $28. If you subscribe now at the $9 tier, you鈥檒l be at that price forever. :) This is our way of saying thank you for signing up now while the project grows.
Many of our patrons here have been supporting us for years. We hope you鈥檒l join us on this new project and support our work there too! Oh and in case it needs saying: no AI will be involved in the project or any Czepeku project!

Did the early bird gallant ranger token subscription change? It seems it no longer includes the token editor but I remember using it a lot. Just wanna make sure it's not a bug on my end. Also for the fantasy bundle, do I have to subscribe with the animated map add-ons in order to also get the token editor
Looks super cool! Any chance that Spelljammer races will be added, such as Astral Elves, Dohwar, or so on? It's so difficult finding art for those sometimes lol

Question cos yay tired brain and English not being my native language "Full access to our entire catalogue." Does that mean token or token plus maps?

I'll pre-subscribe since I already pay for your other projects. I know patreon fee must be taking a substantial amount, but I don't personally feel 100% safe giving you the money directly.
If it makes you feel better, you won't be giving us the money directly. The backend is handled by Stripe (https://stripe.com) which is one of the dominant online payment processors, you've probably used it hundreds of times without knowing. It's used by Amazon, Apple, Kickstarter, Etsy, eBay, Google, Zoom, etc. we never see or store any of your payment information at all.
pre subbed without hesitation. you guys are almost the only maps I use and while I'll def be making custom tokens for like bbegs, I love the customization for npcs or horde fights. You guys do great work and I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next

Hey youse mugs, Outstanding product you have there. A couple of comments and questions, if I may. Thank you for choosing to make this a monthly cost over per release. The option and customization is outstanding. Thank you so much for choosing to use living breathing artists over crappy looking shortcuts. I am excited at the prospect of integration. How would that affect Alchemy integration that we already have for maps? Will D&D critters be the only token types offered? I know I am in the minority, I am old, but will you offer other genres of tokens? I mainly play Superhero/Sci-Fi/Dystopian based games so customization is an exciting proposition to me. Hey JB, thanks for your thoughts. We'll always support living breathing artists. Our art team feels like family and we wouldn't want to ever use AI. The Tokens integration won't affect the maps integration. We're building out the functionality on Alchemy to have a Subscriptions part of the app where you can connect to various creators you support. Maps and Tokens will both be listed there. We're not limiting ourselves to DnD critters. There'll be unique monsters and races that we design too, but they'll generally all be in the 'fantasy' genre, similar to the maps here and the scenes we make. We'd love to make sci-fi/dystopian/cyberpunk etc. content for tokens and scenes too but right now the audience is just so small so it's hard to justify. But not counting it out for the future!
Another CzePeku product I will swear by in all my games. Can't wait to see what you all make! Quick question, are these licensed? Can they be used in streamed games? Also very glad to hear the no AI stance 馃А
The commercial licence hasn't been written up yet but we're 100% fine with them being used in streamed/recorded games. :)

This is amazing and I'm subbing immediately. My only request, that I didn't see as an option, is to allow a transparent background so we can use them easier with foundry's dynamic token frames. Even without that, I still love this.
Transparent backgrounds and other background options will be possible in the full token builder at launch. :)
If I sub, do I lose access to the discounted price if I later unsub and resub?
Currently yes, the lower price is contingent on support. Else everyone would just sub now for a day and then wait a year. The idea is the discount is offered to thank people for supporting us early whilst the project grows.
This looks absolutely amazing! I, too, second the request for more femme options. It can be hard sometimes finding femme options for monsters.

Subscribed! Especially pertinent with the way AI floods those markets. I appreciate the demo for now is very limited version of the final product, but do wish at least one more femme preset was included (or femme customising options). ETA: something a bit more selfishly connected to my games, I hope eventually eyepatches/eye coverings for blind or one eyed characters make an appearance.
We'll be mixing up the ratios of monsters to PC tokens based on what subscribers want to see but the current format has been switching between femme/masc for the PC tokens. Please join us on the Discord and say in particular which tokens you'd like to see! :)
This is great - Although I am curious, is there a tier that offers the maps, scenes and tokens?
There isn't at the moment BUT when we launch subscriptions for the current projects (fantasy, sci-fi, scenes) on czepeku.com there'll be an option to get all 4 of the projects together at a massively reduced cost.
