Been having a little bit of burnout this week, so I dipped into the Idea Submission pool - but surprisingly, the submission was more of a question:

"Hi loops! Long time fan (vero saupremacy) and I was just curious about something. I notice whenever you draw veronica as an RPG cleric, you use the female symbol ♀ in place of any crosses or holy symbols. Is this a legal thing? it looks cool though, so no complaints here. Keep up the great work!"

It's completely a legal thing, actually - if I draw any holy symbol, the Pope himself will come knocking on my door with a shotgun.

Haha, but in all seriousness, it's really just a preference thing. I don't want to accidentally offend or make anyone uncomfortable by adding religious symbols into my silly comics, so I figure it's less worrisome to just use the female symbol instead - it gets the point across, while staying harmless and fun :)

I'm reminded of this old page from KC Green's webcomic, "He Is A Good Boy":

My comics are mostly just lewd fun, so I'd hate for someone to have that same sort of tasteless "Okay, yikes" moment lol everyone's got their own beliefs and I'm not here to step on any toes! Personally, I'm not super religious, but maybe a little spiritual(?). My belief system centers around, "Do what makes you happy, without taking happiness from others". Whether it's enjoying some drinks, having a smoke, or getting down and dirty - as long as you're living in a way that makes you happy and doesn't hurt anyone, then I think you're doing fine :)

ANYWAY, this is no time for deep talks - I gotta start fleshing out this bonus panel before things get busier tomorrow. There's a certain hentai trope I often see on Twitter, so I'm gonna try my hand at it 👀

Also, to let you all know WAY in advance, I'm probably gonna be away for most of December - my lease ends this year and I'll be in the middle of moving (possibly to an entirely different city), and I'm pretty spooked at the idea of it, so I want to make sure I have enough time to get everything properly situated. EDIT - Bonus Panel Complete: "The Nuns are always eager to help! ...perhaps a little too eager?"

I think this trope is called "Oral Invitation"? I've always liked the subtle shiny effect some artists use when drawing wet tongues, so this was a neat way to try it out myself. Not too shabby! :)
