TImelapse & Thoughts - V&M: "Trust, but Verify" (...and a possible upcoming announcement??)

The tricky part of coming up with these non-Hospital shenanigans is coming up with their costumes lol I had to spend some time googling what ye olde nurse outfits looked like (though admittedly, I went a bit fictional for Veronicas, but plague doctors look cool!)
Looking at the plague doctor outfits online, most of them used latex materials and I couldn't help thinking, "Man, I wonder if I could draw something that sleek and shiny!" I often see artists draw such glistening skintones/outfits on Twitter and it always looks so nice! I wanted to give it a shot and although the end result came out alright, it's not quite what I was aiming for - I'll definitely have to give it another shot sometime.
Once of the main "new things" I tried in that bonus panel was colored shadows. Usually, all my shadows are just plain black, but I know some artists tint their shadow layer to give things a bit more of a warm/cold feel to it, so I slapped a purple/blue gradient overlay onto my shadow layer. On some parts of it, it's nice! It added a warm, glowy feel to the highlights on her body, but I'm not sure how I feel on how it shades her face. Layla is pretty pale, so I feel like a bit of dark shadow might be necessary? Oh well, at least now I can toy with it on future drawings :)
