Timelapse & Thoughts - "The Fruit of the Kingdom" (and a sneak peek!)

(Timelapse can be viewed here: https://streamable.com/uzgqfj )

The idea actually came to me pretty last-minute! I was sitting at my desk, wracking my head over a couple ideas I had, but I wasn't really in love with any of them yet. But over on my bookshelf, I have a tiny angel figure and my brain went:

"...what if they were angels?"
"What if they were in Heaven?"
"No, what if Mona was the gatekeeper to Heaven?!"

...and then it all just kinda built up from there lol it's crazy how the littlest things can be a neat source of sudden inspiration! Speaking of inspiration, this next comic idea was pulled from the Sketch Ideas Pool, but I can't say which one yet because it would spoil the punchline lol don't worry, you'll be seeing it soon enough! It's the return of Ponytail Layla!

ALSO, my birthday is coming up! (6/9! Wooo!) I might disappear for a couple days around then, so I can go spend time with family, but I'd like to get another "Veronica's birthday" themed comic whipped up before then. I've got a few ideas for that, so hopefully I'll settle on one after I finish making this new comic.

Hope you're having a good weekend, and thanks for being here! I really appreciate all the support you guys have shown :)
