Trying DLSS5 on my videos.
Hey HoneyBros,
For a while now I've been quite curious about DLSS5 technology (neural AI enhancement of video or images), and I found a program that can do it without even needing an expensive GeForce Series 5.
So I tried it on my own content, I'll let you judge the result for yourselves, but I just want to say this is only a simple curious test that I'm sharing with you!
Just so you know, the image sequence generated for this tiny Juri extract takes about 9 GB. Since I'm working on big projects, I'm very far from having the necessary space, and I even doubt whether it's a good idea ethically, but don't hesitate to tell me what you think about the result in the comments.
But if you're interested, here's the link to the program so you can try it yourself at home:

It needs a bit of tweaking, but it's pretty intuitive!
Alright, I'm going back to work on the sloppy kiss between Juri and Chun-Li.
It required quite a few bug fixes because their faces/tongues tend to clip into each other,
it's pretty annoying!

As the others have said, PLEASE don't go down the ai rabbit hole. This just doesn't look that good. The realistic skin and hair textures looks okay on Juri, but on Juno, it's just uncanny. Overwatch's designs are a tad too cartoonish for that, and the shiny, sweaty skin looks hotter, anyway. And if it takes up more gigabytes, it's definitely not worth it. I'm glad you're experimenting, just please not with ai. Thank you.
It has different lighting and shadows. It looks okay but I think I'm fine with the style you do.
I dunno I'm not like super appose to it. it's honestly just disappointing it just looks like it made everything overly sharp.
How can you not be super opposed to it lmao
Even ignoring the AI elephant. It just doesn’t look good. Juno looks super uncanny. Your style fits the OW characters way better
Yeah it looks like common AI slop
i do not support the use of ai in any way.
I understand, I wasn’t planning to use it in the future anyway.
I would completely avoid this on not only ethical grounds but also aesthetics as well. It doesn’t look good, it makes the characters look uncanny rather than their stylised beautiful selves. And ethically anything to do with this generative stuff just gets classed as slop imo.
Indeed, it was just a curious thing I wanted to try. But don’t worry, I’ll keep on working the good old fashion way. No AI will be used in my projects.
Lol yeah the shadows on the faces just doesn't look the good
Juri's body is the only good part imo
That’s what I thought too. Realistic skin doesn’t fit an Overwatch character
