Do Skyborne Belong in Warcraft?

I was telling a friend about Warcraft lore the other day, they’re more of a Tolkien nerd but we share, and I was saying “well yea, aside from goblins all humanoid actually native races to Azeroth are related to elves” And it was at that point I kinda figured that might be part of the problem here. I mean, would high elves and Amani trolls work? Sure. But that’s still open to the same complaint. And just about any other race is either non humanoid and would need some weird version to work with the game(even ogres) or would basically have to introduce a whole other planet, or another “secretly hidden away titan forged people” So, yeah, I can see why it would be hard to get away from that

Ah talking about the Sundering again, are we?

The lore is kinda interesting but I wish they wouldn't have gone with ANOTHER subtype of Elf. If they wanted to do RGB-Elementalfolk I would have rather seen WoWs take on DnDs Genasi or something. Another elf kinda feels like it was chosen by corpos who know we need pretty Elves for Horde.
