This update finishes Day 2 and takes us on to Day 3 - clocking in at around 600 pics. It features a new guest mission from the amazing Erwin [281 pics]; alongside further development of the Shifter storyline; and the chance to read Sam and Fatima's dreams 😉
You'll also be able to replay any missions you missed from the first Brig scene [Krathi, Luke and Rydick]; and replay any missions you missed from the Day 2 Pandaemonium scene [Lloricain, Ashtaroth or Na'amah]. You'll have a third chance at these later on - meaning you can earn all the points and stable entries in a single playthrough.
Oh... and you can also claim a big reward from Meera in the Brig... as long as you're able so willing to inform on your cellmates 🐱👤

The Mac version doesn't unpack, no matter what I use. It just says that it's not available on this Mac. Any ideas as to what I can do? It hasn't worked for me at all after 2.2.1...

Not so far [she currently has the upper hand]. You'll get more powerful in the future, though.

I dont seem to be able to do anything in the prison snitch scenario except to do it with Meera. None of the choices seem to lead to the brig. She mentions that my previous encounter was with Krathi (too bad, not the save I thought I kept), and I can either spill the beans, give her something trivial, or say nothing. The first 2 lead to banging Meera, the do nothing leads to getting kicked out. What am I missing?
Hey uman! Prison Snitch is a 3-part mission chain, & you’ll be able to play all the parts allowed by your sexuality in a single playthrough - just split into 3 separate encounters. If you’ve already been in a cell, Prison Snitch 1/3 will *only* let you inform to Meera about that encounter [and then give you the choice to have sex with her]. Whatever you chose, you’ll be able to return to one of the other cells in the next 2 sets of missions [this will come up in your mission selector as Prison Snitch 2/3 & 3/3]. That means you can choose, say, Luke in Prisonsnitch 2/3 and Rydick in 3/3. Right now there’s only one mission watch [the 2nd one of day 2], so you can’t progress the chain yet. But in the next update, 2 more mission watches will be available and it will be possible to play Prison Snitch 2/3 and 3/3 from that point on. I know - it’s horribly complicated. It’ll all look a lot clearer once more training days are added.
As someone who plays as a mostly straight character, I don't like that its a requirement to be a bi or gay character to play most of these Holodeck missions. It feels like I'm playing 5 minutes of content with each update. Will you have any Holodeck missions (that aren't VirtualBeach) that have m/f content or any guest developers who will make such content in the future?
Yes. You can currently play the BC Holodeck mission as a straight player [the BBN & Summer Vacation missions are gay/bi]. I have another upcoming straight mission to announce in September, and am negotiating another one :)
For Mac: I found a simple way to get the game to run. copy and paste this command into the terminal; chmod +x SpaceCorpsXXX_v2.2.3.app/Contents/MacOs/'zsyncmake' If you have any issues this youtube video might help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8r2oMwsgMg
OMG!! This did it! That makes total sense too, because looking at the file it's not registered as an executable file! To specify my steps were: 1. Extract App to Downloads. 2. Open Terminal 3. cd downolads 4. chmod +x /Users/USERNAME/Downloads/SpaceCorpsXXX_v2.2.3.app/Contents/MacOS/SpaceCorpsXXX_v2.2.3 I didn't need the '' around SpaceCorpsXXX_v2.2.3 when formatted that way.
Just finished playing from the start and this game is amazing. So much great content! Can't wait to see what's next!

So, even after using Unarchiver I keep getting "The application “SpaceCorpsXXX_v2.2.3” can’t be opened." or if I use a different app I get an app with no icon image, and another folder inside has the app but it says that app is corrupt... Those issues never happened for me before. Has anyone on OSX managed to get it to work yet? If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it.

Hey there, i'm on a Macbook and i'm having issues opening up the game. My Macbook says the app can't be opened. The file was 4.28GB from MEGA and 4.66GB on file. Have i done something wrong?
Hey G.C. - You'll need to download the Unarchiver app from the Appstore [it's free]. The built in Mac unpacker no longer properly unpacks the game [no idea why].
There's no .exe in the windows downloads. I tried both sources and neither had a game.exe or anything similar. I just joined so I don't have any previous versions. Unfortunately, at this point I am unable to enjoy your content.
Hey, Lrdjustice, welcome on board! There are 2 .exes in the game folder [64- and 32-bit]. The problem is likely to be either: a bad download [unlikely since it happened with both sources]; an incorrect extraction of the .rar; or your anti-virus hiding the .exes from you [a lot of them hide applications from sources they don't recognise]. Check that the file is the full size of 4.39GB [4.43 on disk], and if your anti-virus has quarantined or flagged the .exes. If that doesn't help, make sure you extract the .rar into a fresh location [I usually advise WinRAR as a good free extractor].
Sam and Dan scene last line got me in my feels. The audacity. Omg. Loved Loved loved the Summer Vacation crossover so much. Matt and Jimmi do share some similarities for sure in endowment. Loved that we got to see so many of the characters. Wish we got a little Carlos action, though lol. These crossovers are amazing so far. But mostly I am again applauding the music choices. So good! Teenage Dirtbag . Specifically, that version which I love. I was not ready. The best music all the time. My husband is a sound designer and it elevates things so much when a game has great sound and music choices. Every update I have a moment where I'm just letting the song play out and going with it.

The moment I saw Erwin’s pant-sniffing scene, I knew it had to be Teenage Dirtbag 😂 Also glad the Sam-Dan line worked… I sometimes get a bit nervy dealing with more substantial emotions in a largely comedic game, but I felt I couldn’t make something set in wartime without addressing brotherhood and loss [albeit in a lewder way than most would 😁].
Ok firstly thanks for clearing up the confusion about the Brig content above, I had the same query! Now, SPOILERS ahead!! Great great update! With a Sam and Dan scene, I was always gonna be biased, but it was fantastic! SO so hot hehe. I loved the playful buildup between the two and MC wondering how far it would go, brilliant and everything I would like it to be! MC's appearance in the scene was quite something hahaha! Not quite for me but I totally got what you were going for there, it really fit the scene! Fatima's scene was fun too! It got right down to business compared to the Sam one, so the contrast was cool. It's always fun getting to know what filth lies in each character's head haha! Which reminds me, I didn't expect to see characters like Sarge, which was cool. I really enjoy all the non-sex parts of the game a lot too; the story and characters remain very compelling! Also the music was A+! I particularly liked the Teenage Dirtbag cover, but they were all quite good! I tried the Meera scene too, it was great as well, spicy in the best ways! I'll have to add it in my canon playthrough later once there are more days available; till now my MC hasn't joined Division REDACTED. Which brings me to the lovely mission of Summer Vacation! I've played that game too and it's so so good! And the dev did a stellar job capturing MC and his natural reactions to being in that world! All the scenes were hot and I wasn't expecting to actually see the whole cast of that game, great stuff! My compliments to the dev! These crossovers are quite cool!
Thanks, remy! Lol - I originally just planned some short dream sequences, but got carried away once I was inside the characters heads 😂 I'm looking forward to making the rest of them. I was also really pleased with the crossover - all 3 devs have done a brilliant job so far [all were even better than I hoped for!] and I'm currently headhunting a few more devs for additional holodeck missions!
how do you get the option to go to the cells? I don't seem to get the opportunity
Hey Bunny - it depends. If you played one of the brig missions in Season 1, you can’t get to the cells yet [you’ll instead be asked to inform on your cell mate by Meera, and be able to choose a sex scene with her]. The next time the mission comes up [next update] you’ll be able to go in the cells again [if you played this mission]. If you didn’t play a Brig mission in Season 1, you go straight to the cells and only get asked to inform by Meera afterwards. This was why the code got so complicated for me, lol.
Okay the Sam and Dan fantasy was a banger xD In multiple ways I will not elaborate further on. Now I am wondering if Dan has the same kind of dreams his little bro has if we ever get to peek at those ^^
