Origins Award 2026 Roleplaying Game of the Year

Ahoy! We are writing this still a little shaky, but wanted to make sure everyone heard the news!

This weekend, Land of Eem won Roleplaying Game of the Year at the Origins Awards.

We keep reading that sentence back and it does not feel real yet.

Many of you have been with us since the beginning, reading Rickety Stitch and the Gelatinous Goo, and seeing the first glimmer of Land of Eem. And many of you were around to playtest the Land of Eem Beta all those years ago. We want to thank you. Land of Eem wouldn't be where it is today without you.

So when they read our names on Saturday, we weren't just thinking about a trophy. We were thinking about you folks. This award is as much yours as ours! We just got to carry it off the stage.

We don't have a grand follow-up or a pitch to make here. Just wanted to stop for a second and say thanks so you could share our excitement a little.
