Unicorn Class Incoming!
We're excited to release the playtest document for a new playable Class for Land of Eem, available exclusively here on Patreon in June! Meet the Unicorn, a magical force of nature with tons of Courage, healing, and movement capabilities.
Based on the unicorn Xorgana in our graphic novel series Rickety Stitch and the Gelatinous Goo, Land of Eem unicorns are kind of like a cross between Conan the Barbarian and My Little Pony. They're a force to be reckoned with in battle, but also a creature of disarming beauty and grace that can even cast spells.
The entire Class is complete with 10 Levels, 20 Abilities, and tables for Backstory, Ideals, Flaws, Personal Quests, and Relationships. Plus, the necessary Folk rules because Unicorns double as Folk and Class (just like the Gnome).

Heh, this could be immense fun to play. Will it have some notable drawbacks based on its anatomy (inability to hold and manipulate normal objects, climb ladders, wear regular garments, etc.) or will it have some magical means of bypassing some/all such limitations, e.g. telekinetic magic to "hold/wield" objects?
Just thinking aloud as it could be balanced with greater magical/physical power at the cost of not being able to use a multitude of regular items or magical versions of same. It may be worth a box out in the class on this topic if that's the case.
