Welcome to Season 3! Great review.
I love Drummer's cynical attitude. Cara Gee knocks it out of the park every time.
Great review! I thought this episode was exciting because we finally get to see Julie's Razorback in action! What a way to escape. I miss Miller, but I think everyone does, us fans and everyone on the Roci, including Holden. I like how you mentioned that even though they're gone, Julie and Miller are still affecting the world at large in the Expanse. That to me is good writing and a very nice nod to what Miller and Julie represented. Glad you reacted to this one. Can't wait for more!
Great review Molly. Yeah, it's always going to be the Roci and the Roci crew. Prax has good intentions and I like the idea of a "Phoenix tree" but leave it to Prax to come up with the most obnoxious name. Reminds me of a kinky contortionist. :) Looking forward to your S3 reviews, it's quite a ride.
I don't know about you guys, but I've watched Molly's every single full reaction of The Expanse at least 5 times, they are that exciting. Did anyone notice Bobbie’s Terminator moment – "I’ll be right back"? Oh, I just love Frankie.
Prax has such a lovely personality. And by God, this episode already gives a good taste of S3.
Ahhh, finally Season 3! Every episode seems like an edge of the seat one. I do love that you see how the presence of Julie and Miller continue to influence the crew and their actions (and Bobbie and Chrisjen of course). The irony there is palpable! You didn't talk much about Errinwright and the SG; the betrayal there is clear and incontrovertable. Now its Sadavir throwing his old colleague under the bus to serve his own ends. And yet the show continues to force you to see at least some of his motivation is still in the protection of Earth. Tribalism at its best (or worst really). Buckle up and enjoy!
