The Expanse Season 2 Episode 6 Full Review and Reaction!
Hi everyone! Attached - what you've all been waiting for - a link to my full review and reaction to episode 6 of season 2 of The Expanse! As with the Penny Dreadful video I posted yesterday, I decided to upload this video to my University account's Google Drive. I don't believe this should cause any access issues for anyone. However, if it does, please let me know asap so that I can upload it to my other drive account as well.
The edited version of this episode should be up either very late tonight (or technically early tomorrow haha) or else tomorrow evening - depending on how much I accomplish over the next couple of hours. Thanks everyone and I hope you enjoy!
All the best,
Molly

It was the UN that self-destructed the nukes, they handed over guidance, but remember, they said that it wasn't a risk, because they could always send the abort codes and destroy the missiles.
This was the first time I noticed the significance of the red light flash on the drone, then the bright white glow as Bobbie turns her back to "it". Wish I had Molly's power of observation and caught it the first time. :)
I'm also looking forward to your Miller discussion vid.
This upcoming arc is amazing. I love how into the show you are, you are easily the most observant person I have seen react to the Expanse, you are remembering and picking up on things most that people don't.
The thing i love about this show is the layering of arcs..... some arcs last the first 3 seasons, which you could say is Act 1. Other arcs last 2-3 episodes, and others like Miller/Julie last around a season.
Loved this reaction. I’ve never seen a reactor who immediately remembered that Ganymede was the place where Gunny’s (i.e. Gunnery sergeant Roberta "Bobby" Draper’s) squad was supposed to be dispatched to. Also, a great idea, a separate video for Julie and Miller, for their storyline – or their destiny. They well deserve your discussion. We deserve it, too. :) Can’t wait for it. Thanks, Molly.
Welcome to book 2, Caliban's War. Spooky listening to a dead guy relating the events leading up to his death so matter-of-factly. Avasarala is always awesome. Loved that wink-smile she gives Errinwright as she leaves the room after her Mao rant. Not surprising that Diogo is up on stage praising Miller as the Hero of the Belt in front of a very large mural of a gun-toting Miller. Extremism has taken hold of Diogo. It's going to be another fun ride.
So, does that mean that Diogo won't die any time soon in the show?
Going to Venus is a must. They have to at least investigate to see if the threat is over or continuing. Sticking their collective heads in the sand doesn't serve anyone. Also, don't assume that Errinwright is in it for money. He is actually pretty terrified of what Mars could one day do to Earth and thinks that getting them back under Earth's thumb is the safest bet.
Episode was called Paradigm Shift.... and they used the flashback to show one big paradigm shift that resulted in colonization of the belt and independence of mars and all of the "modern" ships, and of course the big paradigm shift that happens at the end :) I was worried you were going to miss the subtleness that she didn't actually fire off the missle because you had a thought you were explaining at the same time, but you caught it right at the end. I've seen people totally miss that and get confused later. Regarding the whole "wait, its over?!?".... we aren't stopping you from binging the season and posting all at once ;)
Thanks! This'll be fun to watch with breakfast
