UPDATE! Tim Curry :(

Hey all! There was a LOT of interest in basically every single movie on our last patron's choice poll. So, I'm going to do my best to make sure I watch all of them before too long! At the moment, our winner is Chinatown. So that will be the first reaction out of that bunch to be filmed. After that, I'm not sure if I'll go in voting order or just see what I can fit in day by day (since some of the movies are considerably longer than others). Before that though, I also wanted to let you know that I'll be posting a couple of movies with Tim Curry in them, to mark his passing. First one of those should be up within a couple of hours (after it finishes editing and processing)! Keep the recommendations coming as well (including scary movies for October)! Thanks guys!!!

A good follow-up to "Demolition Man" but with Arnold in the lead role would be "Last Action Hero" (1993). Very similar vibe. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0107362/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0_tt_7_nm_1_in_0_q_last%20act

Just curious, have you seen “FernGully: The Last Rainforest”? An animated film featuring Tim Curry as the villain (with one of the catchiest villain songs ever as a bonus). Also features Robin Williams in one of his first voice roles.

He will be missed!! SO many fun movies of his to pick from, but two a bit off the beaten path that I've always enjoyed are The Muppet Treasure Island (1996) with Tim as the pirate Long John Silver and the 1991 gangster comical farce Oscar alongside Sylvester Stallone. Tim plays a vocal coach in that one, helping Sly improve his speech and hopefully social and business standings. Pretty silly stuff! Dog Soldiers (2002) and The Wolf Of Snow Hollow (2020) for fun werewolf movies. ^^. And thanks, MB, for all the great stuff you're sharing with us!! ❤️

I would recommend "Underworld: Rise of the Lycans"(2009) and "Mandy"(2018) starring Nicolas Cage. "Mandy" isn't exactly a horror film but I think it's worth recommending before I forget lol

Rocky Horror. His performance in that was stellar.

Seen that one!

A couple months ago I saw an interview on YouTube where he was reminiscing about his life and career. This was long after he had his stroke and had to learn how to speak all over again, yet he was in good humour, and the charm and charisma was still there. And even with half his face paralysed you could still see that iconic grin of his.

Absolutely! I've been seeing some of his interviews all over social media and he never lost his spark!

He may have been one of the greatest actors who ever lived. No matter what role he played, or how lacklustre the project he was in, he always put in 100% and gave his all to every performance. And who could ever forget that iconic voice of his? He was a true legend, and he will be greatly missed. R.I.P.

For Tim you should watch Legend it fits all the themes of your channel RIP

So, I was looking into Legend and there seems to be SERIOUS disagreement about whether the theatrical version or director's cut is better to watch. Usually there's some consensus on these things but on this one, people seem actually split. Any thoughts??
