Hey y'all, it's been a long time since I had to do this but...
Unfortunately, my home just got struck with a major leak/flooding due to some idiot neighbor making idiot choices. My walls and flooring got pretty damaged and saturated so they had to be literally torn off.
The repairmen said things should be fixed in a week (hopefully). But it's been quite difficult for me to work under these conditions. Since it was so sudden, I've had no time to work on my art. I can't even sleep in my own home, too. So I may have to delay my work for a week until the repairs are done. I'll try to keep y'all updated!
All this right as soon as I recovered from being sick. What a year... 💀

Omg blue, I’m so sorry! I’m just now seeing this. This has happened to me, it just happened at my mom’s condo; it’s a plague of morons that do this to the world. Do you need anything from us? Like a GoFundMe or anything? I know it can take a while to stabilize after this happens. Anyway, hope all is well!

(You really do need to take care of yourself, but at the same time, I just wanted to throw out that I missed your cosplay posts.) Please take care of yourself.

Oh man that's devastating. Water damage can be such a nightmare. The 1/4" flex line to our fridge's water dispenser rusted thru and silently leaked into the floor below, which we only discovered when my son's drywall ceiling collapsed. Hell of an effort learning to cut, install, mud, and texture drywall, but we got it done in a couple weeks. Hopefully you'll be able to somewhat enjoy a week off while the repair guys do their work though!
