Streaming For Love | Episode 12 released to $10+ patrons

Hey everyone.

We're happy to announce that Streaming For Love – Episode 12 is now available for all Gold+ patrons on Windows, macOS, and Android.

This might be one of the biggest episodes we've ever released for Streaming For Love, and for good reason: a lot of important things happen in this chapter. Pay close attention to all the details, but don't worry, there are also some scenes for you to unwind with some special people ;)

We don't usually reveal the number of CGs and animations we add with each update, but this time we're doing things differently. EP12 contains 470 CGs and 74 animations, making it by far the largest episode ever created considering the two-month production time. The special scenes benefited the most, and we really want to hear your feedback!

Cheat codes

In this release, there may be an important choice for you to make. If you want to play all the scenes, use the cheat unlocksex in the main menu to make sure the choice option always shows.

Patreon Authentication Note

You might need to log out from your Patreon account inside the game (bottom right corner in the main menu) and perform login again to revalidate your data and unlock the latest episode.

Game Install Instructions

IMPORTANT: Do not play previous builds (0.1.x, 0.2.x etc). Always play the latest build available (it contains all the episodes). Since we are constantly improving the engine, executing a previous build after you've run a newer one could corrupt your progress.

Itch App

Please consider installing Streaming For Love through the Itch App instead of downloading it using your browser. Itch App will automatically keep the game up-to-date through smaller patches (as Steam does, for example), which comes in handy as the game gets bigger over time. We have a tutorial on how to use it. Having issues with in-game errors?

Try to install the game using the itch app https://itch.io/app instead of downloading it through the browser.

Patreon Authentication Issues

The game requires direct access validation using your Patreon account. Your subscription (Gold+) must be active for the API to recognize it. If you pledged and canceled it right afterward, the validation process could fail. Please re-enable your pledge (you won't be charged again) and try again.

If your browser doesn’t open when clicking “Login with Patreon to play this episode!”, please check your system default browser settings and make sure your preferred browser is selected.

If the authentication process doesn’t work, please make sure you are actually logging into the right Patreon account (in case you have more than one). Also, whitelist Streaming For Love in your antivirus/firewall settings. Log out and log in from Patreon in your browser. Whitelisting our domain (https://streamingforlove.com/) in your browser's ad blocker/security extension can also do the trick.

Windows

Download the game, extract the zipped file to a location of your choice and then run the Streaming For Love executable. The game should open straight away after this. Do not attempt to open the file without extracting it first or you’ll get an error message! Do not mix these files with previous releases! This release contains all the episodes.

macOS

Double click Install Streaming For Love.dmg. Then, in the window that opens, drag and drop the app to the Applications folder.

If the DMG file doesn't open, this means Gatekeeper could have quarantined it. It can be fixed by running this command in Terminal:

xattr -d com.apple.quarantine "$HOME/Downloads/Install Streaming For Love 0.12.0.dmg"

Android

Your device needs to be able to install APKs outside of the Play Store. If it isn't, you need to enable that option first. Since Android devices have different ways of doing this, depending on the maker and model of your device, we recommend that you search online for instructions on how to do it.

After downloading the file, open the APK and select "update". Don't uninstall the previous version or you might lose your progress.
