This post is to share information about the upcoming events coming to the game and progress on Futa Prison 2 (or Futa Prison Part 2 — I'll clarify that later in the post)

The events shown in the image are an approximation of what you'll see in the upcoming versions until Floor 5 is finished or Astrid's battle begins. Keep in mind not every event is listed, but it should give you an idea. As for the paintings like the Breast Clan or the Giant Clan, I decided to move them to the new engine.

Now the important part: Futa Prison 2

Think of Futa Prison 2 as Part 2 of the first game: a continuation of the story that keeps the same render style and characters, but runs on a new game engine. When you finish Futa Prison 1, it will continue in Futa Prison 2.

The new engine will be RPG Maker MZ. It makes creating maps and sprites easier, and also gives me access to plugins to improve the game.

Maps

In the old engine I often struggled when designing maps. Now I have a lot more freedom and ease to make maps like this one.

Plus the game will have a side menu where you can simply click to open the equipment, inventory, missions, or settings menu.

Sprites

This is the sprite style that the futanaris will have.

I'm working on all the character sprites so that when Futa Prison 1 ends they'll be ready. I've been progressing this game for months.

Inventory

I'm also making different armor and weapons for Sato.

Battle system (test)

Characters with movement in battle. In the old engine I only used still images because making them animated was too hard. Now it's super easy, so every battle will be animated.

When she covers herself, she has her own animation too.

I'm also working on a button-timing system. If you don't press in time, she'll trigger a special event.

When she has low HP she can change the animation. This opens up a lot of possibilities.

Each of her skills can have a custom animation.

Now battles will be more fun.

Now characters will be able to move during conversations. They're not videos where they sometimes freeze. (If the GIFs look a bit blurry or laggy, don't worry. That's from converting video to animated GIF.) In the game it looks sharp and smooth.

Features I'll add

-Fetish selection

Futa Prison 2 will also include a fetish selection system, so you can pick your favorites and the ones you don't want to appear. Fetishes aren't going away; you'll just have the option to skip the ones you don't like. The fetishes will still be there.

-You'll be able to change Sato's name

-It will no longer be necessary to download the entire game again for each version; a full version and a patched version will be offered.

So when will Futa Prison 2 be available?

There isn't a specific date.

Short answer: when Floor 5 is finished, it's 100% certain it will already be available.

Long answer: There's a chance Futa Prison 2 will be ready before the battle against Astrid, so the fight against Astrid can be on the new engine and be more epic.

Creating the Breast Clan and Giantess Clan maps on the new engine will be fun. That's why I moved them to Futa Prison 2.

BETA

The maps shown so far are part of the plugin testing beta. They are not Floor 5 (except Sato's room).

The plan is to release an early beta to test the plugins, battles, gameplay, menus, weapon and armor crafting system, etc.

So the dates would look like this:

- Futa Prison 2 before or after Astrid's battle

- Futa Prison 2 beta to test plugins over the course of these months
