Heroic Ideas — Choose 2 community item ideas to be made!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1)  Ambrosia  — A thick liquid in an ornate decanter that instills a feeling of fulfillment and grants several benefits for limited time, such as increased size and ability scores, damage resistances, and the aura similar to a deity.

2)  Form of Order  — This sentient sword is perfectly symmetrical, and adorned with miniature gears in pristine condition. You gain a bonus to attack and AC with it, and you can use a reaction to force creatures around you that make rolls at advantage to take psychic damage. It can also emit an aura of order, turning a d20 roll into a 10.

3)  Bookmark of the Savant  — This magically imbued bookmark can be used to subtly empower and alter your spellbook. You can trace one of the eight arcane runes on the bookmark to align it with a specific school of magic, granting you a unique benefit depending on the school of magic you chose.

4)  Amulet of Devotion  — A divine amulet that grants you and a nearby ally of your choice a bonus to AC. You can also spend hit dice to heal an ally nearby as well.

5)  Ragdoll Armor  — Stray pieces of straw poke out of this crudely sewn armor. You gain resistance to nonmagical bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage, and you can spend hit dice when the mending spell is cast on the armor. Additionally, you can reattach a lost limb or body part during a short or long rest by holding it to yourself for 1 hour.

6)  Dayfinder's Glass  — When you look through this spyglass you can always see the sky as if it was night, including the current phase of the moon and star positions. This property ignores cloud cover and other weather phenomena.

7)  Ballroom Breaker  — An elegant ballroom mask that grants a bonus to Charisma (Persuasion) checks made between dusk and dawn, and can be used to magically create and wear a formal outfit during the same time.
