Elite Workshop Day 2 — Let's make something you'd make from a meteorite!

These are loose item ideas based on the suggestions from yesterday's direction poll. Some of these may have had their ideas adjusted or combined with other like-minded suggestions. The final product may or may not use the original wording, so these are the core of the items' functionality and flavor.

Ideas

Comet Ballista — A crossbow that fires sling bullets, instead of bolts, and causes them to fly with the chill and force of a passing comet. Once a turn when you hit a target with the bullet, each creature within 5 feet of the target must make a saving throw or take cold damage. You can also use it to summon a flurry of falling comets in an area you can see.

Lodestone Bolts — A magical quiver that can convert any metal bolts stored within it into ones charged with magnetic force. Once a turn when you hit a target with one of these bolts, you can force it to make a saving throw to be either pull or pushed up to 10 feet toward or away from you, as the bolt reacts to the polarity of the quiver at your side.

Cold Iron Maul — A massive, heavy hammer that deals bonus cold damage to targets hit by it, and has an expanded critical range when attacking fey creatures. When you score a critical hit with the weapon, it also releases a frigid wave of air from you that deals cold damage to creatures of your choice within 10 feet of you.
