Candleflame Helm
Wondrous item, common
While wearing this helm, you can use a bonus action to mentally create a tiny flame just above your head. The flame sheds bright light in a 15-foot radius and dim light for an additional 15 feet. While the flame persists, you can use an action to mentally expand or reduce its radius of bright and dim light by 5 feet each, to a maximum of 30 feet each or a minimum of 10 feet each. The flame remains until you use a bonus action to extinguish it, until you remove the helm, or you're incapacitated.
I will be our torchlight. Stay with me, and we will drive away the darkness together.

griff. this is literally a finishing touch i didn’t know i needed for the next session of a campaign. a very small detail, but informed so much for me. this will be a helm & guise for an npc the party is looking for. i was so very much inspired by the vormir Red Skull, but with this item & my already present background for the character, everything has now locked in. so sick.
More common magic items!
I get a very Dark Souls 3 vibe from this one lol I like the design!
Not my favorite item. Seems like we already have a bunch of items like this
