Elite Workshop Day 1 — What kind of item should we make?
Hey heroes! It's time to make a new item together!
Please vote on a direction and leave a comment with an item idea that's as refined or as vague as you like.
Three or more of your commented suggestions relating to the winning item direction will be up for a follow-up vote tomorrow!
Remember that this will be an official Saddlebag item and will not credit anyone for the ideas generated through this process. Please only bring ideas you're comfortable with sharing to the workshop!
Let's make something exciting together! See you back here tomorrow!

**Scroll of Intercession** *Scroll, very rare* This ornate scroll is held in a glass cylinder decorated with a reflection of the night sky that seems to pulse with divine power. You can read the scroll as an action to attempt to call on divine aid. Describe the assistance you seek, and roll percentile dice. If you roll a number less than or equal to your total class levels, the scroll and cylinder are consumed by a burst of divine energy and a deity intervenes. The DM chooses the nature of the intervention, and if you are not connected to any deity, the request is instead granted by a nebulous celestial force. This force is neutral, and will attempt to fulfill the exact wording of the request. If the roll is unsuccessful, the scroll vanishes and reappears in the cylinder, which cannot be opened again until dawn. **Living Relic** *Wondrous item, legendary (requires attunement by a creature missing an arm)* This ornate prosthetic arm is a reliquary and has glass set into it, revealing the skeletal arm and hand of a saint who devoted his life to protecting others suspended inside. You gain a +1 bonus to your AC and saving throws, which you can transfer to another creature you can touch as a bonus action. Additionally, the arm has X charges. You can expend 1 or more charges to cast the following spells, using their normal casting time: *protection from evil and good*, *lesser restoration*, *remove curse*, *dispel evil and good*, *greater restoration*, and *word of recall*. The arm regains XdX + X charges at dawn. ***Final Sacrifice.*** As an action, you can cast *mass heal* or *true resurrection*. When you do so, the reliquary is dissolved in a massive burst of divine light. This effect also regrows the missing arm.
[Celestial Temple] Moonlight Shield Armor (shield), uncommon (requires attunement) This circular shield bears a glowing emblem of a moon. While holding this shield, you have a +1 bonus to AC. This is in addition to the shield's normal AC. The shield emits bright light in a 15-foot radius and dim light for an additional 15 feet. While holding this shield, you can use an action to expand or reduce its radius of bright and dim light by 5 feet each, to a maximum of 30 feet or a minimum of 0 feet each. The emblem of the moon changes phases to match the radius, showing a full moon at 30 feet and a new moon at 0 feet. While holding the shield, you can use it to cast Moonbeam (save DC 13). Once this feature has been used, it can't be used again until the next dusk.
[Celestial Temple] Planatary Polyglot Post Wondrous item, uncommon (requires attunement) This pearlescent earring made from the wing bone of a pegasus grants extraworldly knowledge. While attuned to this earring, you can choose one of the following languages to read, write and speak as if they were natural to you until the next dawn: Celestial, Elvish, or Sylvan.
[Celestial Temple] Shooting Star Weapon (longbow), very rare (requires attunement) This black bow shimmers with starry patterns and glows softly at night. You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls with this weapon. You can choose to summon a nocked arrow when you draw this bow. This arrow deals radiant damage instead of piercing damage. The arrow vanishes if you don't fire it right away and disappears after it hits or misses. Star Shower. This bow has 4 charges and regains 1d4 expended charges daily at dusk. As an action you can expend a charge and summon a shower of radiant arrows on a point you can see within 60 feet. Creatures within 20 feet of that point must succeed on a DC 16 Dexterity Saving Throw or take 4d8 radiant damage.
[CELESTIAL TEMPLE] Mantle of the Radiant Champion Wondrous Item, Legendary (requires attunement) While wearing this brilliant, glimmering mantle, you have advantage against saving throws against being charmed or frightened by Celestials, Fiends, or Undead, and their first attack against you each turn has disadvantage. You also have advantage on attack rolls against Fiend or Undead, and once per turn, when you deal damage to them, you can deal additional radiant damage equal to your proficiency bonus. Celestial Wrath: Whenever you take damage from a creature, this mantle gains 1 charge, or 2 charges if the creature who dealt damage to you is a fiend or undead. This mantle can store a number of charges equal to twice your proficiency bonus, and loses all its charges if it doesn't gain any new charges within 1 minute of gaining its latest charge. As an action, you can expend all charges to cast down divine wrath upon your enemies. For each charge you expend, you deal 1d8 radiant damage to a creature of your choice within 60 feet of you, or 1d12 damage if the target is a fiend of undead. Once this property is used, it can't be used again until the next dawn.
The guards spent as much time looking into town and watching outside the wall. The new guard wondered why until one night the old guard pulled out a weather scope that smelled of salt and seaweed. As he put it to his eye it glowed green and seeped mist. The old guard began to say, 3 steps left, 2 forward, 3rd board by the door. He stopped with a grin. I'm buying tonight and left for about an hour. Magical spyglass that has dark vision to 120'. Upon uttering a sea shanty the wielder of the scope can hear what is being said as if they were standing at the spot they are looking as if using the Scrying Spell. Usable once a day and must be submerged in salt was at least once a week or a Specter is released who wants his spyglass back.
[CELESTIAL TEMPLE] Chalk of Divine Ceremonies Wondrous item, uncommon You can spend 10 minutes to consume this chalk to draw a ritual circle in a five-foot space. When you do, you also designate a command word for the ritual circle. The ritual circle remains until erased, which can be done by spending 10 minutes to clean the ground using holy water. It otherwise cannot be erased by non-magical means. A spellcaster standing on the ritual circle's space can speak the command word to cast one ritual spell they know using its normal casting time, but without expending a spell slot, as if they cast it as a ritual. They can cast this spell as a ritual even if they do not have a feature that allows them to cast spells as a ritual. Alternatively, a creature standing on the circle can speak its command word as an action to use Channel Divinity: Turn Undead. At the GM's discretion, you can also use a different Channel Divinity's effect. Once the ritual circle has been used to cast a spell or has used a Channel Divinity, the ritual circle vanishes on the ground. tl;dr: consumable chalk that lets you create a ritual circle. while standing on the ritual circle, a creature can cast one ritual spell using its normal casting time, but without expending a spell slot (as if they cast the spell as a ritual). alternatively, a creature can use the ritual circle to replicate one channel divinity. the ritual circle vanishes afterwards

A feather burns for 1d4 hours, after which, the feather is destroyed and the effect ends. Zone of truth Zone of silence Zone of restoration (greater restoration spell over a small area)
For celestial, what about a portable altar? Something that helps cast augury/commune or such, folds up, can be dedicated to a different deity over the course of a day or two?
