Elite Workshop Day 2 — Let's make an item from a magical forest!

Hey heroes! Let's make an item you'd find in a magic forest!

These are loose item ideas using on the suggestions from yesterday's direction poll. Some of these may have had their ideas adjusted or combined with other like-minded suggestions. The final product may or may not use the original wording, so these are the core of the items' functionality and flavor.

Ideas

Forefinger of the Ancients — A wooden staff from an ancient treant's bough. It regains charges daily, or all of them if you're in a forest. You can use charges to cast spells like awaken, barkskin, entangle, and tree stride. You can also plant the staff to permanently turn it into a petrified tree in its location: using it for a spell like teleport via plants has a percent chance to not cost a spell slot.

Moose Velvet Armor — A set of soft hide armor made from the velvet of a moose. You gain a +1 bonus to AC while wearing it, and while you have no more than half your maximum hit points remaining, you take 3 less damage whenever you take bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage.

Life's Flower Restorative — A magical branch that can be held up to the end of a missing limb, such as an arm or a leg. The branch grows and twists to become a magical prosthetic from which grow X number of flowers. Whenever you recover hit points from a spell, you can expend a number of these flowers to increase the healing by a number of d4s.

Honey Harvest — A wooden mace that's dripping with a honey-like substance. Critical hits can cause the target to be restrained until the start of your next turn, and you can create a sticky area of honey in a square within range that reduces creature's movement to 0 until they succeed on a save against it once a day.

Gladekeeper's Bow — A magical bow that becomes more powerful while you're standing in a forest or within 5 feet of a tree. You can empower its ranged attacks using some of the bow's charges to restrain a target hit by it.

Thanks for the suggestions! Let's make something fun this week!

I made the honey harvest, but I would really like to see the moose velvet armor made. It sounds awesome and a bit gruesome.

Oh that's funny. I submitted the Moose Velvet but totally voted for the Honey Harvest. There's no way any of my ideas beat S T I C C Y M A C E.

Can we force a tie and possibly get multiple items?

As always, in the event of a tie, Griff just makes what he likes.
