Renowned Ideas — Choose 2 community item ideas to be made!

Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a week-long cooldown.

Here are the 7 randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Best Friends Tunic — A magical cloak that allows you to expend Hit Dice as an action while hugging a creature to heal that creature for the amount expended. If they hug you back, you gain additional benefits.

2) Verax Weapons — A series of weapons that prevent you from having disadvantage imposed on your attacks from magical effects.

3) Ring of Contempt — A cursed ring that glows with cold spite whenever you're near a specific creature type. If that creature hits you with an attack, it takes cold damage and the damage you take is reduced by a similar amount.

4) Gelatinous Servant — A Tiny gelatinous cube that loves to clean and has a small degree of sentience: enough to understand being told to avoid certain parts of a room or similar. It dissolves rocks, dirt, and other grime, but leaves other objects unhurt.

5) Soul Anchor Arrow — A purple, glassy arrow that deals psychic damage instead of piercing damage and forces a creature to succeed on a saving throw or be affected by the slow spell.

6) Traitor's Gauntlet — A cursed gauntlet that causes hateful flames to taint any weapon you hold, causing them to deal additional necrotic damage on a hit. However, they make you distrustful and unable to take the Help action.

7) Plated Dress — A magical dress that grants a static AC of 12, but can be activated to become an armored dress lined with resilient metal plates for up to 1 minute at a time: becoming as strong as some heavy armors.
