What setting and subclass should come next?

Hey heroes!

With the release of the Bloodmire setting, now is the time to look forward and decide what new setting and subclass pair should come next. Each time a new setting is released in this way, you can expect to see another poll just like this.

Each poll includes three options. The runner-up of the previous poll will stay, while the other two options will be different. There are a total of 12 setting/subclass pairs, so if your favored option doesn't come up now, you can expect to see it later!

1) Crest City and the Circle of Dragons

Setting — A city ruled by a generations-old royal family and a secret organization behind it all that stretches back for thousands of years. Includes details on how to incorporate new family lineages and a Thieves Guild-like organization for Druids that you can integrate into your worlds!
Druid Subclass: Circle of Dragons — Wildshape into a unique dragon form instead of a lowly beast! Breathe fire, fly, and become the pinnacle of the magical food chain!

2) H'rethi Desert and the Desert Soul

Setting — The H'rethi Desert, a massive, unforgiving desert with more beneath the surface. This sentient desert has a temple at its center that leads to the landscape's soul and magical core.
Sorcerer Subclass: Desert Soul — Unleash a whirling maelstrom of blistering sand with your spells, become sand, and create evasive mirages!

3) Heaven's Pyramid and the Steel Hawks

Setting — A city composed of multiple hanging, ringed tiers attached to the side of a perilous mountainside, separating classes and workers by their elevation. Ravaged by rocs and other high-flying creatures.
Fighter Subclass: Steel Hawk — An armored warrior who leaps and uses gravity to their advantage, landing devastating blows like a diving bird of prey.

Remember, each setting and subclass will be made at some point! It's up to you to decide which ones you're most excited for and should be made first!

All of these sound awesome: but DRAGONS!

I am worried about the power creep of Druids being Dragons if it is accessible at lower levels. Why would a druid play any other subclass? Do they get Lair actions if they wild shape at home? Do they have to burn both wildshapes? Is it only usable once a day? Can you still wildshape into Beast or are they locked into Dragons? Can they only wildshape into the dragon of their alignment?

Don't worry, I am *extremely* careful about powercreep. This is a unique dragon form you take on: not just any dragon from the MM. You can still become a beast if you so choose, too! I just updated the description so it's more clear that you're not just turning into a CR2 dragon at 2nd level.

Ive always wondered why there isn't a circle of the dragon

The dragon subclass gives option 1 an unfair advantage :P

What Tiago said. I'd love to see more desert content!

I’ve been building a patchwork campaign world from all sorts of sources, and all of the setting you’ve made thus far have been included. I’m really hoping the H’Rethi Desert is next, it’s one of the few biomes I’m lacking content for. Even better, the Desert itself can be the Sand Goddess I’ve been fiddling with.

I like the Final Fantasy Dragoon vibes from the steel hawk. Very interested to learn more about this subclass. But each choice looks great!

Man, the indecision is real. Sandy wastelands or a Dragoon class? 👍👍

Desert, for sure! We need more desert material for 5e!
