While wearing this ring, you can choose to summon a nocked arrow or bolt whenever you draw a bow or crossbow. The ammunition is magical. An arrow or bolt vanishes if you don’t fire it right away and disappears right after it hits or misses.
Frinella smirked as the encroaching bandits jeered, pointing at her empty quiver and mocking her for her misfortune. What they didn't know was that the quiver was always empty.
The bandits' wretched grins turned agape as dozens of arrows magically appeared in her drawn bow, one after another.
As she stepped over the bandits' bodies, she collected their valuables and dropped them into the arrow-less quiver.

Could this item be used in combination with the Quickdraw item?
Sure! But it'd still take a minute to reset that crossbow, since the major drawback of that item isn't a loading property but its once-per-fight reload time.
I love this because I always forget to count arrows
Just to be perfectly clear, it doesn't add a secondary piece of ammunition, it is only for if/when you have run out of ammunition?
Right! Or if you don't want to use your existing arrows. This doesn't make extra in the bow or crossbow.
Does this allow you to ignore crossbows' loading property then?
Nope! Loading has to do more with the time it takes to draw a crossbow (an arduous task). This just means that you don't need to carry a quiver of arrows or bolts is all.
