I don't post about my personal views online because they aren't what you're here for. I know that, but I would be wrong to not use the platform you've given me to spread information that needs to be spread.
It's important to stand together and support your fellow humans. We all want the same things: to be treated with respect, to be seen for who we are, to be heard and taken seriously, and to live a life worth living. I always prioritize compassion in my content and responses to you, which I hope always comes across, and I want you to know that if you're in this fight: I've got your back. Message me if you need to.
The world needs togetherness and understanding, and the fact that racism and police brutality are a thing in 2020 is bullshit. It's culturally ingrained, and it's repulsive.
Yes, you should protest: if not to protect your own rights, do it for those that have had theirs violated. Yes, you should be angry. No, you shouldn't loot stores or burn down buildings. That said, you can tear down some Confederate monuments. History or not, immortalizing racism only perpetuates and normalizes it.
Keep on adventuring, stay safe, and stand up for a better future for humanity.

There have been a few occasions in some of your streams you’ve given a glimpse of your general feelings on these sort of social justice matters. This stance you’re taking comes at no surprise, and I’m incredibly pleased and (quite frankly) proud that you’re being this vocal. I’ve been making the same mistake for years thinking that holding myself to a high standard and being (what I hope to be is) a good person was enough. It’s not. It’s not when that means I’m silent and letting this happen. I have a tremendous amount of privilege. I’m significantly less likely to be shot at, beat, pepper sprayed, or arrested for joining protests and making a justified fuss. It’s time I leverage my privilege to help people other than myself. I encourage anybody else who can to do the same. For those of you unable to join protests for any number of reasons, especially folks who can’t risk the exposure with Covid-19, I encourage you to find other means you can help. Griff posted some great groups that need funding. Another great way to be involved is transcribing videos showing these abused. Fact check everything you can and share all that you learn. Let’s make this world better for everybody.
